knowledgeable and thorough

Mr. Swearingen is knowledgeable, fair, and thorough. He handled my divorce 5 years ago which involved bancruptcy, foreclosure of the property, and a child custody battle. He was able to provide me with wonderful references to handle the issues outside of the divorce case and handled my divorce case... in a professional, fair manner. My ex-husband was not always appropriate with his requests for the divorce preceedings. For example, he did not want to leave the house that we lived in with our children. Brad quickly filed the appropriate paperwork and gave him 2 weeks to pack his stuff up and leave. After our divorce was finalized, my ex husband was not filling out the paperwork for his 401(k). I contacted Brad (years after my case was finalized) and he got the job done. Brad is a lawyer that knows the law and makes sure that the case is fair to both sides. He is a no-nonsense lawyer that will fight for your rights as long as they are appropriate and follow the law. Your right to collect the appropriate amount of child support, your right to property, and your right for custody. I highly recommend Mr. Swearingen.

Look no further, Brad is the attorney you want

Divorce is NEVER an easy thing to go through, especially when there are children involved. Brad was my second attorney and he has represented me over a period of 10 years. During that time, he has always acted with deep professionalism. He knows the law inside and out and is willing to fight for h...is clients. You need someone who can fight for your rights as a parent AND act in the best interest of your children on your behalf. Attorney Swearingen is respected by the judges and many other attorneys in his profession. If you're looking for a great attorney in Kane county, give Brad a call. He was my most valuable ally during the most difficult time in my life. Thank you, Brad!

Divorce Proceedings

I secured Brad's services for my divorce proceedings. Through no fault of his own, they dragged on for over a year. He gave me his expertise and guided me through the process. Although I did not agree with parts of the final settlement, he walked me patiently though the rules and regulations that ...he had to follow.
