knowledgeable and thorough

Mr. Swearingen is knowledgeable, fair, and thorough. He handled my divorce 5 years ago which involved bancruptcy, foreclosure of the property, and a child custody battle. He was able to provide me with wonderful references to handle the issues outside of the divorce case and handled my divorce case... in a professional, fair manner. My ex-husband was not always appropriate with his requests for the divorce preceedings. For example, he did not want to leave the house that we lived in with our children. Brad quickly filed the appropriate paperwork and gave him 2 weeks to pack his stuff up and leave. After our divorce was finalized, my ex husband was not filling out the paperwork for his 401(k). I contacted Brad (years after my case was finalized) and he got the job done. Brad is a lawyer that knows the law and makes sure that the case is fair to both sides. He is a no-nonsense lawyer that will fight for your rights as long as they are appropriate and follow the law. Your right to collect the appropriate amount of child support, your right to property, and your right for custody. I highly recommend Mr. Swearingen.

Professional Custody

My divorce involving minor children took 26 months. Part of the reason it took so long was that my ex spouse hired John Chapski, who is on the opposite end of the "Professionalism, Character and Honesty" spectrum as Brad. Brad knows the current laws, and can give the best advise of what you should, ...or should NOT do. I had both GAL and Psychologist reports leaning my direction for custody. I agreed to be the residential custodial parent with ex spouse getting 50% visitation. Brad is a "No non-sense Attorney" that is going to advise you of what your best options are. He is an expert on child custody, visitation laws, maintenance and child support. I would highly recommend Brad regardless if your divorce is new or your going back to court for old issues etc....

Consistent and Professional

Brad returns calls quickly. Brad took time to educate me on the law pertaining to me. I hired Brad for divorce matters, including child support. He has always answered my questions. Later, I returned to Brad to represent me in obtaining an agreement for support so that my children would receive he...lp in paying for college from my former spouse. I am very happy with the outcomes and Brad helped to put me at ease. He is very knowledgeable and consistent. I highly recommend Brad if you have to go through divorce matters.

Gets the Job DONE!

Brad represented me for 4 years for a child custody/ child support case. My ex went through 4 lawyers, even appealing the judges decision. We won our case amongst his lawyers trying every escape tactic in the books. He keeps his composure during 4 trials and doesn't let the other lawyers deter fr...om the problems at hand. His knowledge of all rules and regulations of a courtroom sets his bar higher than any other lawyer I have seen in the 4 years of court proceedings. He made all 4 lawyers of opposing counsel look as if they just graduated with no court experience. I have recommend him to everyone I know. I wouldnt trust any other lawyer to handle any case of mine. As I am sure my case is not over, due to the manipulate man I chose to have kids with. Brad cares about his client which for me was comforting during such a hard time in my life.
