I sought out Betty because she is highly involved in the community where I live, and has expertise in employment law. I was seeking advice about a possible discrimination lawsuit. Betty was great. During that session, she presented me with some advice/coaching on how I might resolve things without attorney involvement, and the merits/cautions of filing an EEOC claim on my own. I hired Betty Tsamis for my unemployment appeal. I wanted to prove that I left my job due to my disability and the harassment I received because of it (in other words, for good cause). I didn’t think I could do that on my own after being denied benefits after my initial hearing, so I hired Betty. I t...old her about my disability, and how I was treated on the job. She was very sympathetic towards my story and told me how she would handle my case if I hired her. We lost my first appeal. My last appeal was to the Board of Review. Mrs. Tsamis told me what I needed to get from my doctor. From there, she was able to present my case to the Board of Review. It took the Board over the 120 days to make their decision. However, it was worth the wait, because I finally was awarded my unemployment benefits. From my understanding, Betty Tsamis usually charges an extra $1500 to prepare for another appeal. Well she did my Board of Review appeal pro bono. I’m forever grateful for her services. She was an advocate and a voice for someone like me who is different and is sometimes treated poorly because of it.

Betty came to me via recommendation. When someone is referred they have to be great from start to finish. I was injured by my neighbor. I called her and left a message with her friendly and professional staff. She called me back immediately and asked me a few questions and then listened intently to... my story. The questions I asked her were so basic that she didn't make me feel stupid instead Betty explained everything in great detail from fees, what is needed from me to start the process, how the process starts on her end, what she was going to do and what I needed to do and how long it could take. Betty then does her thing - she updated me along the way - keeping me well informed of my options as a client. When it came time for case Betty called me and presented the ideas of how we can maximize my settlement. What the options were, how she will pursue my neighbor, the witness, the village, but most importantly she discussed each of the ideas with me and explained certain processes that we would go through may not be beneficial. End Result - All of my medical bills were paid for through the insurance company. Betty even called the insurance companies to have the charges reduced so that I could get a larger settlement based on my case.
