Great lawyer for employment law - highly knowledgeable, lots of integrity

I sought out Betty because she is highly involved in the community where I live, and has expertise in employment law. I was seeking advice about a possible discrimination lawsuit. Betty was great. Upfront she told me about a potential conflict of interest as she had represented my former employer sev...eral years ago on an unrelated case. I thought it showed a great deal of integrity to walk away from a solid piece of business due to a past relationship that could possibly work to my disadvantage. Instead, she put me in touch with a colleague who is now representing me, and this person is just what I needed. As sharp as Betty, and tough as nails. with my former employer. While I was only in contact with Betty for a couple weeks, throughout the process she was responsive to my emails, compassionate about my situation, and generous with her time. My initial in person consultation was free of charge, which I did not expect. During that session, she presented me with some advice/coaching on how I might resolve things without attorney involvement, and the merits/cautions of filing an EEOC claim on my own. She also predicted exactly how the employer would frame the layoff decision. Whether it was insider information, or a deep understanding of this type of law, I was impressed. I would recommend Betty highly to anyone seeking her services related to employment issues.

No communication

I hired Mrs Tsamis to defend me in a civil action. She did not return my calls and was late for court. I don't think she is very knowledgeable as the answer to most of my questions was , "I don't know."

Personal Injury - Call Betty Tsamis - You won't be disappointed

Betty came to me via recommendation. When someone is referred they have to be great from start to finish. I was injured by my neighbor. I called her and left a message with her friendly and professional staff. She called me back immediately and asked me a few questions and then listened intently to... my story. The questions I asked her were so basic that she didn't make me feel stupid instead Betty explained everything in great detail from fees, what is needed from me to start the process, how the process starts on her end, what she was going to do and what I needed to do and how long it could take. If I didn't understand she explained it. I will tell you that if YOU as the client do not assist her and her staff to get the things she is requesting from you then you are not doing yourself justice. YOU are prolonging the process. Be an active client like I was and it will go fast. Betty and staff at any point asked me for (to name a few items needed) were current doctor bills, places and doctors names, pharmacy receipts, physical therapy, mileage, wages, police reports, pictures, etc once the majority was obtained. Betty then does her thing - she updated me along the way - keeping me well informed of my options as a client. When it came time for case Betty called me and presented the ideas of how we can maximize my settlement. What the options were, how she will pursue my neighbor, the witness, the village, but most importantly she discussed each of the ideas with me and explained certain processes that we would go through may not be beneficial. She said, "Let's not spend more money to get no money". That resonated with me and what lawyer do you know wants to save me money instead of spending it - BETTY TSAMIS that's who. End Result - All of my medical bills were paid for through the insurance company. Betty even called the insurance companies to have the charges reduced so that I could get a larger settlement based on my case. I couldn't have been more happier that a lawyer said exactly what they were going to do and got it done. Something that could have turned out to be nothing ended up being BIG. Call her if not; put her number in your phone for when you need a great lawyer like Betty Tsamis.
