Matthew M. Williams is a well-versed divorce and family law attorney. Born and raised in the Western Chicago Suburbs, Attorney Williams takes pride in representing the individuals and families of his local community from his offices in Aurora and Yorkville.

For the better part of the last decade, Attorney Williams has focused his attention almost exclusively on domestic relations matters--divorce, custody, support, child visitation and enforcement issues. In addition, Attorney Williams is an experienced litigation lawyer as well as a trained collaborative attorney. Furthermore, Attorney Williams has been approved to act as a Guardian Ad Litem.

Mr. Williams graduated Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law. While completing his legal studies, Mr. Williams worked as an intern and law clerk for the Kane County State's Attorney's office. While at the Kane County SAO, Mr. Williams prosecuted Class X and Class 1 adult drug felonies.

In addition, Mr. Williams has an undergraduate degree in psychology with 5 years’ experience working with abused children and adolescents with severe psychiatric and emotional disorders.
