During my consultation with him, he stated that this was a simple case and he would win it for me and it would cost me a retainer of $750. Well let’s just says that was BS, because he blew through that retainer with useless calls back and forth to my ex-wife attorney and let’s not forget the 3 court... appears. Not only was the retainer wasn't enough for him he came after me for an additional $216.70 for miscellaneous charges too. He coward to my ex-wife attorney and when he wrote the court order, he didn't correctly write it up too. Because he wouldn’t listen to me of how to correctly write the order, especially me knowing how detailed oriented my ex-wife is and if it’s not exactly spelled then she doesn’t let anything slide. Well by him NOT listening to me, I lost valuable parental visitation time with my daughter who resides with my ex-wife 50 miles away, plus the pickup and drop off time were screwed up by him NOT listening to know. After all this was said and done. I confronted him on these matters, he got hostel with me and “he stated what is the big deal” of you losing visitation time with your daughter. Well to me every minute I get to be with my daughter is a big deal to me. Warning, stay clear of this artist of words, he has his own interest at heart NOT his clients.

Mr Zahour handled my divorce. He was very professional and understanding. He completed my divorce in a timely manner. He explained the legal system as it is in my county. He answered all my questions. There was nothing more that he could have done to assist me. I was extremely satisfied and wou...ld recommend him without hesitation.

Not only did Mr. Zahour leave me at the courthouse after I took off work with no notice because he had another case, he seemed to let the other lawyer know as well as the other person I was in a case with, but not his own client? He has also called me yelling at me for not submitting paperwork when i...t was his responsibility to gather the documentation. Not only that, I had to call this lawyer about 20 different times complaining about verbal abuse from my ex and the attorney told me to "deal with it", and to not go to the cops - YES. He said avoid the police because a court does not like to see that type of stuff. Then he allowed allowed the father of my child to pay me very little support via PAY PAL for over a year - no justice for health insurance, day care, nothing. He will hurry you off a phone call within 2 minutes and charge you $25. BE CAUTIOUS, this guy manages drug dealers and just about every judge hates him. My 18 month old son is now going to be allowed unsupervised visits with his drug addict father even though both a court appointed mediator/doctor and a home case study worker advised against it all because Alonzo didn't take the time to represent me correctly. And to top it off, this lawyer did not speak up for me ONCE in court yet told me to "speak my mind" saying that the judge didn't like me. No Alonzo, the judge does not like YOU!

I hired Alonzo in July 2013 when my ex left me with our 4 yr old child & did not take any financial responsibility for her. After 9 yrs together, we were never married so it made it more difficult to make him do so. When I first meet Alonzo he was upfront, told me what he would do for me & it would b...e simple. Needless to say, 19 month later, I have received $3000 from my ex towards child support but the real kicker here is that me ex received a large settlement from an injury & Alonzo did nothing as he said he would to secure some funds for my child or for all the back child support, medical, day care expenses. It took him a year to go to court for me, he cancelled 5 scheduled hearings the first year, told him I would report him to ARDC unless he did an emergency hearing of which we went to & without my consent gave my ex's attorney another extension so a year later my child & I was still in the same position we were in before we hired him. Alonzo had told me be lucky I work & I have income coming in cause there are people in worse cases then mine. Yes I work, make a OK living, but it is a parents responsibility to provide & support their child & it was Alonzo responsibility to have the courts make the father do so, Alonzo did nothing to secure funds for my child so she is the one that will scarfice while her daddy is living life off his settlement. Needless to say, he no longer is my attorney, I reported him to ARDC. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!!
