Alonzo Houff Zahour

My son and I sought out the assistance of Mr. Zahour after he had some traffic troubles and I was thinking the worst as a mother of what could happen to my son as he was involved in a car accident. Mr. Zahour was the blessing that my son needed, not to mention a lesson was also learned on my sons beh...alf. His rates are excellent and he offers payment plans. His office staff are very friendly and thorough! I am more than pleased with his services!

This man is nothing but a scam. He did nothing but side step and did not notify me of crucial law decisions which cost me thousands of Dallor's while he could have advised me properly in the beginning. Now, knowing what I know I had a very expensive education in the law to which, once again knowingl...y, he did not advise me on and took me months to dig out of. In the end stay clear of this scam artist he will sell you the world but throw you under the bus multiple times

More than a 5 Star review. There's nothing like an honest attorney who knows his stuff. Alonzo has helped me with a divorce and most recently, post decree, in which I had to go back to court for college expenses for my child. He really handles himself professionally in court and he'll tell it lik...e it is...I like that! Mr. Zahour also did a bankruptcy for a friend of mine who was really in a pickle. That friend now has a fresh start and is doing well rebuilding her credit. His office staff is helpful and he seems to be a busy guy. Good thing! His rates are pretty good. And my friend almost paid about double elsewhere for a bankruptcy..so call him. You won't be unhappy!

Not only did Mr. Zahour leave me at the courthouse after I took off work with no notice because he had another case, he seemed to let the other lawyer know as well as the other person I was in a case with, but not his own client? He has also called me yelling at me for not submitting paperwork when i...t was his responsibility to gather the documentation. Not only that, I had to call this lawyer about 20 different times complaining about verbal abuse from my ex and the attorney told me to "deal with it", and to not go to the cops - YES. He said avoid the police because a court does not like to see that type of stuff. Then he allowed allowed the father of my child to pay me very little support via PAY PAL for over a year - no justice for health insurance, day care, nothing. He will hurry you off a phone call within 2 minutes and charge you $25. BE CAUTIOUS, this guy manages drug dealers and just about every judge hates him. My 18 month old son is now going to be allowed unsupervised visits with his drug addict father even though both a court appointed mediator/doctor and a home case study worker advised against it all because Alonzo didn't take the time to represent me correctly. And to top it off, this lawyer did not speak up for me ONCE in court yet told me to "speak my mind" saying that the judge didn't like me. No Alonzo, the judge does not like YOU!

Terrible Lawyer, Very Lazy, never returns calls, or email, and lacks communication, late to court dates, or sends his partner, I would send him emails, with No response other than his assistant was out with an illness and they were busy, Not my fault! I had sent him the same email once a week for a ...month No response. He got aggravated with what I was asking for in my case, working against me. He ended up dropping me as a client cause I didn't pay him, He got a retainer and $ 100.00 of my money and that is all he is getting. on top of it when he sends me the bill its not even correct. He is very unprofessional and all over the place, sloppy. court was always a joke! needless to say I hired another attorney who got the job done in a few months apposed to Alonzo's 1 year of doing absolutely nothing.
