When I was incarcerated in DuPage County I felt like I had no more options due to other lawyers experience when I was assigned Michael Sweeney he brung all of those options back to me when I first met him he asked me what did I want to do instead of giving me a choice to pick he didn't use any sophis...ticated words to try to throw me off or maybe not understand he kept it 100 and DIDN'T beat around the bush and gave me some realistic ideas and options I think he deserves better because it is not about the money it is a dedication to his work and i can tell he love's it a lot he is not like other lawyers which I think are a little mean a little stuck-up and could be butthole sometimes what Michael Sweeney is a people's person and gets to understands his clients and sees what's the best option for them instead of him

I have Michael sweetie is my public defender if I didn't know that you was a public defender I would have thought he was his own private lawyer. He is amazing people skills and everybody in the courtroom including the prosecutors like them as he's a great lawyer and a great guy he bent over backwards... to help me out with my case and it came through as he said he would every time he sees me in the hall the courthouse even though he's not my lawyer anymore ejects on my well-being see how I'm doing I personally am one who totally thinks Michael Sweeney should be his own private lawyer and should Branch off Courthouse he is an excellent knowledgeable lawyer

Mr. Sweeney showed to me that he had vast knowledge of his field and he did everything he could in his power to get the best outcome for me and he did that in spades as I was hit with a dui charge for smoking cannabis and had admitted to doing so. Right off the bat the odds were weighed against us a...nd in favor of the prosecution but he saw some discrepancies and was able to show the court that although i had admitted to smoking cannabis it did not show that it impaired my ability to drive. This is a PUBLIC DEFENDER! that had a million cases around the same time as mine but didn't let that get in the way of my own. I couldn't recommend this man enough and would give him my highest recommendation for saving me huge fines, classes and community service and walking away with just a meager speeding ticket. He knows his stuff and will be honest to you if he thinks you can beat it take him on his word, trust me i could of caved and pleaded guilty but instead went to court with him, fought it and won!
