I bought a condo in 2004 when real estate was on the rise. I saw the value of my condo go up $30,000+ the first number of years and felt really good about this real estate investment. I owned a home that was supposed to be a "starter home" which I bought in 2000. As time passed, things changed and I got married. It was time to move. If only all attorneys were like Mr. Sulaiman, we could all look forward to times when we need legal help. I had been perhaps two thirds of the way through a foreclosure when my attorney just dropped off the face of the earth. Although she had often told me what a good deal she was giving me and what ...a great attorney she was, her representation cost me thousands of dollars and did nothing to mitigate my stress. When she replied to my request for an update on my case with a terse, "I'll call you when I have something," I dutifully kept paying my assessment$, and tried to not worry.
