Shameen Thakrar

Before we ultimately closed, we were under contract on two other properties. Shameen was our attorney for all three negotiations. She was always quick to get back to us, often making time to speak outside of normal business hours (weekend and nights). She was always friendly and professional, and did... a great job of explaining things to us without ever coming off as patronizing. She would give us—always patiently—her unvarnished opinion, telling us when sellers were being unreasonable and when we were the ones who needed to adjust our expectations. We would absolutely use her again.

Shameen was recommended by our broker when we began the process of purchasing our new home, as we obviously needed an attorney. She was the best recommendation and we had such a great experience with her. We were first time buyers and Shameen was very thorough when explaining everything to us and was... always making sure that we were asking questions and understanding the process. We had experienced some delays in the process (not because of Shameen), and Shameen remained helpful, professional, and patient as we worked to figure out the issues and move forward with the purchase. She was also wonderful at the closing - she explained all of the paperwork in detail but in the most efficient way. I could not recommend Shameen enough.

Shameen was very helpful and efficient in helping us close on our new condo. She was great at reviewing documents and making sure the right questions were asked. She was always prompt and thorough with her e-mails and tasks. At closing she helped explain a lot of documents in terms that we would u...nderstand since we are not lawyers. We would definitely use her again.

Shameen was an amazing attorney to work with on a very frustrating case! Her attention to detail, diligence, compassion and persistence were very much appreciated, and helped make the legal proceedings not only tolerable but rewarding, as well. I am hoping to never need an attorney in the future, but... would definitely choose Shameen to represent me again!
