I have selected Mr. Jonathan Minkus to represent me in several instances/legal issues, including very recently. I remain impressed with his knowledge, accessibility, and professionalism, both in and out of the courtroom. On April 15, 2021 I have engaged Jonathan Minkus law firm to help me to get one theft felony vacated in Dupage County. Out of three criminal attorneys I contacted, Mr. Minkus was the only one who told me that would be able to get the charge vacated, the other two attorneys told me that it is impossi...ble and they have never seen it done, the prosecutors simply do not agree to vacating old guilty felony judgments, nor would they ever agree and set a precedent. Nevertheless, Mr. Minkus had implicitly told me that he will get it done. I have retained his services and paid in full. I was fully aware that no lawyer can guarantee an outcome, however, being lied to and being misled is another thing. Ultimately, the charge did not get vacated, as the prosecutor did not agree to it, just like the other two attorneys have told me. I would not recommend or refer anyone to him.
