I have used Dan for my cousin and my aunt with regards to estate planning. My cousin was dying and he was the only person with power of attorney for my aunt. Dan setup a trust so that I could take care of my aunt after my cousin passed. This worked out perfectly. Also, I had to sell a condo and purch...ase another one in a different state for my aunt - Dan helped with this as well by reviewing all of the documentation for the sale and the purchase. When I finally had to sell the 2nd condo after my aunt passed, Dan was there for that as well.

My wife and I used Daniel E. Levy to represent us as buyers in a home purchase and were very satisfied with his work. One of the things I like most about Dan is that he is reachable. When you send an email he responds promptly. When I would call the office (rarely- I'm a Millennial!) he would answ...er. If you've bought/sold real estate before you know that everything happens FAST during the contracting process so having an attorney you can count on to respond quickly gives tremendous peace of mind. Dan handled all of the routine paperwork like the contract without any issues. When issues arose with the home inspection, he was our strong advocate and got us compensation for the issues found. When we came to closing and there were still some unresolved issues from the inspection, he secured us a lump sum payment to hire contractors to fix the unresolved issues. He was strong, firm and determined to get us what we deserved. We were more than satisfied with Dan Levy and he will be our attorney as long as we're living in Chicagoland. I will not hesitate to call him any time the need arises. In fact, we're planning to use Dan for our will/trust.
