Daniel Levy made the whole process very smooth for me. I recently purchased my first home, he was patient, understanding, explaining me in details the process. Dan and his team did a terrific job at taking care of everything in support of my elderly parents (85 and 80 years old) selling their condo. Dan dealt with the buyer and buyer representatives so my parents did not have to do so. He advised us of the specific steps we needed to take to complete the ...sale with our local government as well. Best of all Dan was empathetic and compassionate in dealing with my parents as they needed some guidance to complete the closing; which we did in their new residence. In short Dan was a great seller's attorney and I recommend him highly!

We recently bought a home in a private sale. We purchased the house directly from an estate following the owner's death. Daniel managed the transaction from our side, and worked directly with the seller's attorney. Daniel was knowledgable, professional and prompt in answering all my emails, phone cal...ls and text messages. He was skillful in managing the negotiations and helped us get a lower final purchase price than we expected. He saved us money and made the process as smooth as possible. I have used Dan for my cousin and my aunt with regards to estate planning. My cousin was dying and he was the only person with power of attorney for my aunt. Dan setup a trust so that I could take care of my aunt after my cousin passed. This worked out perfectly. Also, I had to sell a condo and purch...ase another one in a different state for my aunt - Dan helped with this as well by reviewing all of the documentation for the sale and the purchase. When I finally had to sell the 2nd condo after my aunt passed, Dan was there for that as well.

My wife and I used Daniel E. Levy to represent us as buyers in a home purchase and were very satisfied with his work. One of the things I like most about Dan is that he is reachable. When you send an email he responds promptly. When I would call the office (rarely- I'm a Millennial!) he would answ...er. If you've bought/sold real estate before you know that everything happens FAST during the contracting process so having an attorney you can count on to respond quickly gives tremendous peace of mind. Dan handled all of the routine paperwork like the contract without any issues. When issues arose with the home inspection, he was our strong advocate and got us compensation for the issues found. When we came to closing and there were still some unresolved issues from the inspection, he secured us a lump sum payment to hire contractors to fix the unresolved issues. He was strong, firm and determined to get us what we deserved. We were more than satisfied with Dan Levy and he will be our attorney as long as we're living in Chicagoland. I will not hesitate to call him any time the need arises. In fact, we're planning to use Dan for our will/trust.
