Hired him for divorce case. Alan, wittingly or unwittingly misread certified financial statements from other party. The difference between Petition For Maintenance and Financial Affidavit was 76% to 105%., Wittingly or unwittingly did not follow Local Court Rules and Civil ILCS. While at the same ti...me keep requesting more supporting documents from me and billing for allegedly unrelated documents. Who was Alan protecting when not reporting this vast income discrepancy to the court?

I would like to start with how nervous I was when I needed to hire a lawyer for my family case. At first I looked everywhere and eventually I remembered the firm Harter and Schottland took a criminal case of mine and beat the case. I contacted them, I asked if they had a family lawyer. They said yes..., and that’s when I met Alan. Now at first people are usually nervous cause you think “hey, this guy is just after my money” but not Alan. The moment you sit down with him and explain your case, he knows exactly what to do. Intelligent and knows how to get after it. Through out the case I would call him with any questions and he always called me back even if he couldn’t answer the phone at the moment, very dependable. Now regarding the case, it was a win. I’m a father with two kids and with custody, thanks to Alan. To this day he will still answer my phone calls with any questions and assures me he is still there to get after it again. I would highly recommend Alan for any types of cases, from family to criminal.

Alan is a great lawyer. He is very professional and always answers the questions I have in a very timely manner. He works hard for your case and gives you many options in the direction you should go with your case. He fought very hard for me and got me exactly what I wanted out of my divorce. After calling around lake county area, and even stopping in a few offices, I found Alan. He was the most polite out of all the bunch and seemed the most sincere/genuine! That always stands out to me, but regardless of kindness, Alan was even better priced than most and was very patient and willing to... answer all my questions and even give some great legal advice! I was super nervous for the month leading up to my court date and Alan reassured me not to lose sleep over the case. I had court for two misdemeanors and Alan got them both dropped!
