He over charges. Better off getting a cheap lawyer and getting the same results. He’s close to retirement so he doesn’t really care about your case. Im sorry but save your money and time he’s just not that passionate about it anymore. Hired for criminal case and wasn’t caring enough

Incredible outcome

Larry was very professional and more importantly, very compassionate. I was very fearful of a bad outcome going to trial and he advised me every step of the way that it was the best decision. The result was the charges being dropped and the 3 year supervision being thrown out. His rates were about h...alf of what any other attorney quoted me and I feel like I got a much more favoravle result. I have recommended him to anyone I know.

Outstanding DUI attorney - not guilty after trial!

Larry is quite simply an outstanding attorney. Because of his stellar representation I walked away with a not guilty verdict: which for me meant no fines, a clean driving record and most important of all no immigration consequences (I am a not a US citizen). After my arrest, I spoke with an attor...ney I knew personally and she referred me to Larry without hesitation. He helped me get my driver's license back within a week of the arrest. As an immigrant professional, this case had me extremely worried since I had everything to lose. Larry was incredibly patient with me despite my anxiety and took time to answer all of my questions. He knows his way around the Rolling Meadows courthouse like nobody else, and is well respected by everyone including the judges! Once we knew what we were up against after reviewing the video from the day of the arrest, he explained how the case might play out in court and his recommended course of action (a bench trial). He was brilliant on the day of the trial. After his cross-examination of the arresting officer, I immediately knew I had a fighting chance. And sure enough, a not guilty verdict followed shortly after! I can recommend Mr. Dohman with great conviction to anyone in a similar situation.

Larry Dohman is a Classy Professional DUI Defense Attorney!

Larry Dohman is a top notch attorney in the Cook County court system. He is highly educated in the DUI laws and takes the time to learn about any changes in the law system. Larry is highly respected by the judges and district attorney office staff. I was charged with a DUI in the past year. It wa...s my second offense in the past thirty years. My initial attorney was not showing much patience or interest in my case, so I looked around. I called Donald Ramsell and Associates, after reading great reviews on their firm. Their staff referred me to Larry. Upon our first meeting, I knew Larry was right for me. I decided to hire Larry as my attorney, and I have not regretted the move. Larry genuinely listens to his clients and takes all points under consideration. When he explains a point or procedure, he is patient and goes over the topic again until his client understands the situation. He is honest, but covers all points, even when the topic may be difficult to discuss. He truly cares about his clients. Larry charges a reasonable fee for his representation. His fees are no more than any other attorney I interviewed. I believe he could charge a higher fee than the rest of the DUI lawyers, and he would still be a great deal! His experience in the system and his keen observation skills provide an extra advantage for winning cases. He knows all the judges and DA staff and knows their tendencies and strategies. But there is nothing deviant in his approach. He is a fair player within the legal system, and the respect he receives from the judges and DA staff prove that. Larry worked with the system to get my DUI reduced to a reckless driving charge, with minimal additional components included. The outcome could have been much worse, since I made some mistakes that were incriminating and irrefutable at the time of the arrest. I am grateful that I looked around and discovered the fine representation that Larry provides. I would and will recommend Larry to anyone facing a DUI charge. He is your best bet in getting a favorable outcome.

Choosing Larry Dohman to handle my speeding ticket was a great decision

I hired Larry last week to represent me on a traffic court case for a ticket of going 30mph + over the limit. He was very professional, affordable, responsive and knew his way around the Rolling Meadows Court very well. Larry told me up front everything that I needed to do and bring before my court d...ate so there were no surprises and everything ran smoothly. Once we were able to go in he immediately went up to the front and got everything signed in with the judge to ensure my case was the first one called. He then went out of his way to talk to the DA and the bailiff to try to get my ticket knocked down substantially which would've successfully been the case had the officer shown up. In the end because I was the first one up and the officer was not present Larry got my ticket dismissed. I ended up paying no fines or court fees and most importantly nothing on my record. I felt very comforting having him represent me, it took a lot of pressure off and made me feel like he was genuinely in my corner. I would recommend Larry for anyone with a similar case.
