Larry Dohman

I hired Larry last week to represent me on a traffic court case for a ticket of going 30mph + over the limit. He was very professional, affordable, responsive and knew his way around the Rolling Meadows Court very well. Larry told me up front everything that I needed to do and bring before my court d...ate so there were no surprises and everything ran smoothly. Once we were able to go in he immediately went up to the front and got everything signed in with the judge to ensure my case was the first one called. He then went out of his way to talk to the DA and the bailiff to try to get my ticket knocked down substantially which would've successfully been the case had the officer shown up. In the end because I was the first one up and the officer was not present Larry got my ticket dismissed. I ended up paying no fines or court fees and most importantly nothing on my record. I felt very comforting having him represent me, it took a lot of pressure off and made me feel like he was genuinely in my corner. I would recommend Larry for anyone with a similar case.

A friend suggested Larry's services to me when my third (3rd) DUI was written. He worked me through the court system and after several continuances got me off on a 'technicality' that was overlooked by the prosecuting State's Attorney. And then MY FOURTH (4th). I didn't 'blow', so my license was... pulled for a year, and guess who I called immediately! Larry didn't have a lot to say when I called because I knew that he was disappointed in my return. He simply said, "well, come on in and let's see what we can do!" I won't go into all of the details, but after many months of continuances, I was found not guilty by a bench trial. Larry is very professional and I followed his lead in every direction, but I was never misled to believe that he could guarantee me ANYTHING! In my opinion, if you are shopping for a DUI attorney, look for someone who can show RESULTS. I believe that most everyone realizes that a true 'professional' will never GUARANTEE you anything!

Lawrence Dohman did a phenomenal job representing me. Using his acute prowess in his specialized field of law, he was able to secure a finding of not-guilty for two offenses over a short bench trial. To get to that point, it took nearly 12 months, but at all times Lawrence Dohman was active in the ...case, and articulated to the flow of the judges and state attorney in a manner that demonstrated his ability to read character and mood far beyond what the casual-onlooker would uncover. I came to Larry in July of 2011 for a 2ND DUI IN the past 8 years I interviewed 5 lawyers Larry was always upfront and promised nothing to me even if it want what I wanted to hear, moving forward Larry informed me of the penalties for a 2nd DUI and what it could do do my career and criminal record we... went to court on 3 appearances my sobriety video didn't look that good we watched it together I didn't really want to go to trial had way to much to lose so it negations with the prosecutor Larry worked out a very favorable plea bargain for me that ended up to me pleading down to reckless driving never lost my Drivers License however I do have to do some SWAP hours and of course pay a fine, Larry did a GREAT job he knows everyone inside and out in that Rolling Meadows Courthouse and truly cares for the well being of his client if you have a driving situation in cook county and don't hire this man you are flat out crazy in my eyes he is a very knowledgeable lawyer and even brought my parent to my last court date where he spoke with them and informed them what was going to happen of course with my consent, Larry saved not only my license but a criminal record possibility and my job as well overall he got me a very good deal I don't even have to have the BAID device in my car which was a concern as well. Hire this man if you need help in the cook county court system.

I came to Larry in February 2011 after being pulled over for DUI at 4 am just days before. I took the field sobriety tests and also submitted to a breathalyzer which registered a .135 BAC. In a 30 minute meeting Larry took all of my information along with a detailed description of the events and we...nt to work.
