CONSUMER ALERT

DO NOT HIRE KAY SYNDER! I hired Kay for a simple/fast divorce with cost no more than $12,000 - Kay dragged the case for over a year and the cost well over $50,000. Kay will not defend you she will favorite other side (watch: Kay starts contacting opposing lawyer too much) she will than turn on you (a...nything you bring forward that you should be awarded - ex. non-marital claims) and you will get absolutely nothing. How is Mexico? - I found in my information from Kay about lawyers vacationing hot spot at the expense of the CONSUMER! Shame on you!

Hired her for my divorce in 2005

She was very nice, but too busy for me. She kept pushing me off.... In the end I received a solo custody arrangement made into a joint custody decree with a stipulation that I (rather than both he and I) remain within 30 miles of a particular city. It took 6 years for me to get the child support stra...ightened out because of the wording in the original decree. Then, in 2012 when I attempted to move back home to FL, the clause ended up not only keeping me in MN, but I was told I had to have permission to even visit somewhere out of state, while he had free reign. If she wasn't too busy, she probably would have done a decent job. Unfortunately for me she was busy and I got the raw end of the deal. If you hire her, make sure you stay on her and do not let her try to tell you something is, "standard, common, or normal" when it does not have to be. It is your decree -- you can set it up how you want within the boundaries of the law. Also, ask her about her work-load.

Got things done

Long painful divorce. Due to my x husband not wanting me to have anything and his attorney from Monticello causing all kinds of drama. She handled things professionally and didn't put up with threats and intimidation from the Monticello attorney. She had good advice and gave me options to cons...ider. I was happy with how she handled things.

A True Advocate!

I retained Kay Snyder to represent me in two separate family cases that were probably as complex as they can come. Kay and her staff were professional, unbelievably knowledgeable and advocated for me 110%. Her staff, Janet and Ashley are fantastic and super helpful as well! In short, Kay stuck by my ...side throughout the entire ordeal and fought tirelessly for what I thought was impossible. I'm beyond grateful for her and her team. I strongly recommend this firm without hesitation.

Respectful and Understanding

Kay Snyder was my attorney in my divorce last year. She worked hard to help me get a fair settlement. There was no drama between the two parties, and she helped keep the peace between my ex and me during the process.
