I met David Kemptson during an extremely stressful time in dealing with my worker's comp injury. One person against a large company and all their resources doesn't stand a chance. After a consultation with David, I was so grateful he took me on as a client. He was thorough, kind and very knowledgeab...le. David helped me understand the legal process, what I could expect, and he and his team handled the legal details for me, giving me an opportunity to focus on healing. David was honest with me, never gave me unreasonable expectations and encouraged me as things were stressful. When the company's lawyer pushed, David stood on a solid foundation of knowledge of the law, truth and integrity. In the courtroom, he was completely prepared, calm and meticulous. David protected me from the company's lawyer's attempts to distort the truth, and to make sure the Judge did hear the full story. Waiting for the Judge's ruling, which took weeks, I had no regrets and knew the long road had been so much easier because of David and his team working hard for me. We did win the case. Even as the years have gone by, on the rare occasion I have a question about my case and follow up medical appointments, David responds to me himself within a day. He is just an email away (my preferred way to stay in contact not necessarily his), and still helping me navigate this journey. I will always be so very thankful for the integrity, hard work, kindness, and support of David and his team.

After injuring my shoulder at work i contacted David after a referral from a hospital front desk secretary. Throughout the entire process from rehab to surgery and finally settlement (that was a nightmare dealing with the system of workman's comp.) David Kempston was always professional, in contact, ...and always updating me on the status of my claim. Most of all he was all business but still compasionate and caring due to my financial situation struggling to make ends meet for my ill wife and four kids two of which have disabilities. As a look at this review I see it is only for 4000 words . 4000 word seems like a lot except when you're trying to explain how somebody such as David helped you through a process . Fortunately and unfortunately I had to use David two times in my life . Both times that I have used David as a lawye...r I feel there has been a personal connection not just somebody I'm hiring to do a job but somebody to lean on when I get frustrated and confused about the process . David always answered and returned my phone calls and even though it's sometimes wasn't what I wanted to hear his answers were correct in every aspect . Mr. Kempston is very compassionate of the injured worker and understands the struggles that confusion that comes with the Worker's Compensation process . I feel David held my hand through the process and explained things in a manner I could understand without all the legal mumbo-jumbo. In my opinion Mr. Kempston is an honest and straightforward man with good character. David was patient with me and made sure that I had a general understanding of the process, he didn't make me feel unwelcome or like I was wasting his time. A good lawyer is capable of keeping in touch with you in a way that makes you feel that your case gets the attention it requires. An attorney has a duty to communicate with his client on a consistent basis David has never disappointed in this area. If David wasn't available his legal assistant Mrs. Wick was. David has a combination of high intelligence, strong analytical and advocacy skills, and an ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in David has passion for worker's Compensation law and I believe has mastered excellence , which fosters a high level of commitment to his work. Lastly, Mr.Kempston doesn't come across as a "typical" lawyer. A great attorney defies the stereotypes that are commonly associated with the legal profession - arrogance, greed He is friendly, personable and charismatic and you will actually enjoy working with him. When do you need a lawyer? How do you choose the right attorney? These were both questions I asked myself and am glad I made the decision to reach out to David Kempston.

Mr Kempston was incredible at keeping the case focused. With the experience he has, he has heard it before. I learned to just let him ask the questions and at the end he would let me embellish on what I wanted to say. Once he asked his series of questions, I really did not have much to ask. Mr Ke...mpston had already answered it. This happened many times. He knows work comp and he knows it well. I was very impressed with his sincere concern about me and what I was going through. I have consulted many attorneys about my case and the uniqueness of it and Mr. Kempston was the only one optimistic about it. He listed all the implications of each criteria affecting the case, and explained each possible outcome. He is straight to the point with now running around. We ended up settling the case for two times the expected amount with other benefits to add. I would highly recommend Mr Kempston for a Minnesota work comp attorney. He is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate about his cases. An attorney with traits like these is what a person needs an attorney to have.

If it is possible for a person to give 10 stars to a lawyer I would be gladly to give it to Dave! He was very professional & as soon as I knew he was a Christian I had nothing to fear.,to be honest I don't have a lot of experience with lawyers and haven't trusted most of them.
