Great Lawyer

David was terrific at explaining every part of my legal process. David new the workers compensation laws like the back of his hand. He listened to everything I said and all of my concerns. He responded to my emails any time of day and on the weekends. David cares about his clients and not the big pay... off he might get. I would recommend David 100 percent!

Great Experience!

Between dealing with my injury, trying to find a job, and wrestling my insurance from a hail storm, David helped take a lot of weight off my shoulders. There were a lot of things, and terms, that I did not understand, and I found myself struggling with the adjuster. After I retained David, all of m...y concerns were alleviated. All my questions were answered in terms that I could understand. He called frequently to see how I was doing, and kept me informed on the progression of my case. Overall I am glad that David was referred to me, and I would be more than happy to refer his council to anyone.

You are in good hands

Mr. Kempston is a very experienced work comp attorney who has worked from both sides of the coin and knows exactly what you are going to encounter. If I had to pick just one quality that most defines David is that he is freakishly fast at responding to any calls/messages no matter what time of day. ... I had a lot of anxiety about my case and my health in general and ended up sending emails frequently. One time I emailed around 10 p.m. on a holiday expecting that I would get a response the following Monday as it was not a super urgent matter but 15 minutes later he had already emailed me back! Even my mom was shocked! If you are like me and you worry about everything there is to worry about (your future, what is going to happen to you, what if the money stops), the questions and worries are just endless. David always took the time to explain things and if you have questions he will answer them and he will answer them timely. I worked with him for about a year and this was always the case: fast, courteous, knowledgeable, and he will work to get you what you deserve. The work comp system is not perfect by any means so it is my humble opinion that your best defense in a system that is very flawed, that choosing David will give you that life preserver that you desperately need right now. I'm glad that I made this decision and my life is better now for it.

Worker's Compensation extraordinaire

From the moment I contacted David Kempston I received nothing but timely, clear, understandable communication. Never pressure. Having a work injury that impedes your career is painful and frightening on multiple levels. I had never been involved with a work comp injury. It felt confusing and ov...erwhelming. David Kempston assisted me through this process with grace, compassion, and patience. His expertise and eloquence might lead one to believe he would be arrogant. Nothing could be further from the truth. He is caring and authentic. I don't know how he juggles a busy schedule, balances his family life, and conveys a sense that you are the most important client. It was an honor to work with David. I am a little very grateful; he won my case.

Not the lawyer you want, He's the one you need!

I've had a lot of experiences with lawyers over the last 45 years on a lot of different issues. Some good, some ok and a couple not so good. David is by far one of the finest lawyers I've had the pleasure of knowing, Exceptional knowledge of the complex work comp system, He never shied away from te...lling me what I needed to know in all situations over more than 8 years, rather than what I wanted to hear. He is a soft-spoken GIANT in the court room and won the overwhelming number of cases He brought in front of the court on my behalf and the 2-3 or so cases we lost were more by things I said contrary to his advice than by his competence. He was successful getting me all the care I needed most and very successful in getting me the fair settlement for my injuries. I've already recommended others as well as another family member to him for his knowledge and skill and I would recommend him to all that have the un-fortunate journey through the MN. workers comp system. For David, thank you for all you have given me and done on my behalf over these long years, my life has been improved by you in so many different ways! God bless you and grant you a wonderful and long life. Chuck M.
