Lauren Jennifer Cutuly Campoli

After a relative got into trouble in the middle of the night, I/we initially hired a different and horribly "wrong" attorney, just because he answered the phone. After many sleepless nights and his "flat fee," it made sense to terminate/fire him anyway, and to find the right attorney. THANK OUR LU...CKY STARS for Lauren, who I/we were then able to hire. Due to her ability and efforts, she not only undid the further damages done, (which made the initial charges worse), but she went on to achieve the best possible results, thus protecting my relative's record for the future after University graduation. I was a passenger in a car with an acquaintance who- unbeknownst to me- had a large amount of narcotics in his vehicle. To make a long story short, we were pulled over and I made a mistake in a moment of panic when the driver revealed he had the narcotics and asked me to hide them. I ended up getti...ng arrested and charged with third degree felony possession of narcotics that were not mine. I had no prior criminal record whatsoever so I was terrified after going to jail, losing my job, and facing a very serious charge. I called Lauren and she met with me the following day in her office. She immediately put me at ease, explaining very clearly the strategy that she recommended, why she recommended it, as well as some other possibilities, and also explained some contingency strategies if my case ended up going to trial. She listened to and responded to my concerns based on her knowledge from prior cases and always made sure that I was comfortable with the plan of action, and that I was aware of all options and the pros and cons of each. She assured me on my first visit that because I had no prior criminal record that I would not face prison time, and she would fight for, and get the best possible outcome for me. I could tell right there through her real compassion and genuine understanding of my fears that she meant it. I can't even describe how much it meant to me at that time to hear that I was going to come out of this OK... and Lauren delivered on her promise. She had a good relationship with the prosecutor, and was able to get my charge dropped to a 5th degree so that I was able to participate in an out-of-court diversion program. Upon completion of this program, the charge will be dismissed completely. Lauren kept me informed as to what was happening the entire time. She was there for me at each court appearance. And she responded to all of my calls, texts, and emails immediately- making me truly feel as though I was her only client... which I know was far from the case. She was truly extraordinary in that regard. I was able to get my job back thanks to the resolution that Lauren brought to my case. I highly recommend Lauren- especially to those who are facing criminal charges for the first time because I now know how terrifying that is. Lauren has both the skill and knowledge, as well as the compassion, understanding, and responsiveness to put you at ease through the whole process, and deliver on her promises. I had a tough case, and I couldn't be convicted of anything because of my job, so my goal that became Lauren's goal when I first spoke with her, was to not have my background affected. There's something that Lauren does that not many other lawyers do, she prepares a mitigation package for the prosecu...tor to review, and in my case, it worked! When I arrived to court, Lauren was already there waiting for me and told me right away that she had good news for me. She had arrived to court earlier in order to talk to the prosecutor and was able to negotiate an outcome, and I will continue to have a clean background. I couldn't be happier! Lauren got to know me and answered all of my questions. She talked me through the steps and also held me accountable for my parts, since it is MY future we were dealing with. I even had questions for her after the final decision and she answered them also, and I know that I'll be able to reach out to her in the event of more questions that may come up.
