Biography
Attorney Robert Foley earned his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in 2009 after graduating from Iowa State University with a B.S. in History and a minor in Psychology. In 2010, he joined the law firm of Gerald Miller, P.A., a Minneapolis-based D.W.I. and criminal defense firm with over 35 years of experience. He was promoted to the position of Managing Attorney in 2013. Attorney Foley focused primarily on D.W.I. Defense litigation and represented Defendants throughout the state of Minnesota. Attorney Foley zealously and successfully advocated on behalf of his clients against criminal charges as well as civil license revocation, license plate impoundment and vehicle forfeiture. On multiple occasions, Attorney Foley was successful in having criminal charges dismissed as well as civil license consequences reversed and forfeited vehicles returned to their rightful owners. In November of 2016, Attorney Robert Foley and partner Dana Kinsella formed the law firm of Kinsella and Foley Defense. Attorney Foley continues to fight for his client's rights and constitutional protections in the areas of D.W.I and all areas of criminal defense. Attorney Robert Foley takes special pride in his ability to aggressively litigate on behalf of his clients while taking special care in addressing his client's needs and concerns along the way. 1st DUI
Got arrested and spent 4 nights in jail. (Ramsey Co) Was super worried about additional time jail time and exorbitant fines. Robert put my mind at ease and was able to get me a very good deal that i could live with. Great attorney with the demeanor that i needed to get my life back on track.
