Solid with Confidence

Mr Due is a solid performer with total integrity and committed to his clients 100%. Very little experience with the legal system left me with little confidence in the process but Mr Due changed that and was available at any time to help absorb and understand the process. I believe whole heartedly tha...t without him I would have been left in pieces,. Thanks Rob

Highly Competent Family Lawyer

Rob represented me during a lengthy, bitter divorce proceeding that spilled into a post-divorce dispute. It was a complex case, yet Rob managed the details well. He was aggressive when needed, but I always sensed that he was really seeking to find an early settlement. Expensive, but I do not belie...ve he was churning billable hours. Well-respected in the courts and by opposing attorneys.

Divorce Settlement

Rob Due represented me in a nasty divorce settlement. I knew I was going to need a very good attorney, because my ex thought he was very smart, and attempted to drown the proceeding in paperwork and site numerous premarital assets into question. Rob was adept at countering these claims using only ...facts and the law. He was knowledgeable, professional, and ethically aggressive. He successfully brought about the desired result in my case in a timely manner. Should I find myself in need, I would rehire Rob without question. One practical statement...like all exceptional attorneys...come with an open wallet.

One of the Best

Mr. Due skillfully handled my divorce case with "adversaries" that did not want to play fair. He knows every lawyer and judge in the State and how to manage the process. He was well organized and prepared for every eventuality. We ended up "settling" with Mr. Due going to intellectual heroics to a...chieve an asset distribution that was much greater than my expectations--in fact, I was ready to settle, but Mr. Due counseled me to wait--which resulted in me having more assets in the end. I am very surprised to read the negative portrayals of Mr. Due. In my experience, he was empathetic, about me and my daughter, and was NOT in a panic about getting paid. I've recommended Mr. Due multiple times to acquaintances, all of whom to my knowledge have been satisfied with his work.

The guy you want to have in your corner.

I've had Rob Due in my corner since 2007. My divorce was messy, antagonistic and long-drawn-out. The fact that I'm not a citizen but my ex-spouse is did not help tip the scales in my favour. But Rob stuck with me through thick and thin, even during his own transition between two firms and, although m...y first attorney did try hard, the transition from him to Rob was immediately noticeable. Rob made it possible for me to obtain joint physical custody of my child, evened out my financial obligations with those of my ex-spouse, making my side considerably more bearable and creating a more equitable share of accountability between both parties. He may not always have told me what I wanted to hear, but that is also what solid counsel is all about. Thanks in part to his work, I now enjoy the ongoing relationship with my daughter that both she and I are entitled to. So, even though I'm not made of money, I continue to keep Rob on retainer to this day. The results are well worth the investment.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
