Excellent employment lawyer
Beth is a very experienced and knowledgeable employment lawyer who helped me navigate and resolve a civil rights issue with my former employer. In addition to being highly skilled, Beth is incredibly compassionate and easy to work with. She's an excellent communicator, and cares deeply about helping her client accomplish their goals in the process of pursuing justice.

Employment Law Experts
I don’t write many recommendations but have no hesitation about recommending Beth Bertelson and her firm. I retained Beth for a complex and difficult employment law matter. What impressed me about Beth was her expertise with all aspects of employment law matters, her responsiveness, customer service, and empathy. I can honestly say that Beth and her colleague, Andrea Ostapowich, provided to me support, guidance, and an excellent legal strategy which led to a resolution of my case in a positive way. She has strong negotiation skills and has a creative approach to finding a resolution with the thorniest employment law matters. She is very professional and I was super impressed by her patience and empathy. Her firm returns phone calls and responds to email in a timely way. Beth and Andrea went above and beyond, and if you have an employment law matter in Minnesota, I would suggest contacting her firm.

Client
We retained Beth for employment law litigation. She was responsive, professional, and patient as a teacher of someone wholly unfamiliar with the legal system. She is compassionate, organized, and very effective. Because of her legal skills, including deposing people, our litigation was successful in every way. Hire her and you will not be disappointed, you will be impressed.

Super Lawyer
I was nearly 60 and making the money and achieving the success I had spent years working for when a 30-something manager with absolutely no industry experience threw me out into the street. Two months salary. No severance, and no health care. Not in America, you say? Well, not when Beth and Andrea find out about it. There probably isn't any amount of money that would adequately compensate an injustice so outrageous and devastating. But Beth and Andrea went to work and returned a settlement large enough for me to overcome the situation and make the company think twice before ever trying it again. If your reading this and find yourself in a similar situation, you've found your representation.

Thought Leaders in Employment Law
I retained Beth Bertelson with the support of Andrea Ostapowich three months ago, late February of 2020. I had a time sensitive matter that required immediate attention. Andrea was prompt in returning my initial inquiry (less than 24 hour turnaround). Her quick response was critical when searching for the "right" attorney. As a result, I not only retained Bertelson Law Office but I was able to schedule a face to face prior to the Pandemic shutting Minneapolis down. I had never retained legal counsel so I was extremely apprehensive and uneducated of the process. Thankfully Beth and Andrea walked me through it, with very much care and sensitivity. Beth is a compassionate attorney who takes the time to understand your situation. She will work with you to understand your objectives and provide you with realistic feedback after careful review of your claim. She is a Thought Leader in employment law and that became apparent very quickly. In addition, Beth's communication style was very easy and clear. I knew exactly when and what information Bertelson Law Office needed and when it was needed by. Her easy going but extremely professional disposition made my experience retaining legal counsel so much more meaningful. I am so so grateful for her taking my case and working with me the last three months. She and Andrea really made a very uneasy and stressful experience into one where I felt comfortable disclosing confidential information freely. Lastly, their overall approach to my case was precise. Their strategy was well thought through and when I asked for guidance they provided all viable options. I would most definitely recommend Beth and Andrea to anyone looking for a legal counsel.

A Fortunate Find
It was relatively simple to find attorney's who would represent employers, but as an employee in a hostile work environment, finding representation was not as easy. After speaking to some attorneys that were referred to me, I went to the internet in search of those honored by their peers as "Super Lawyers" and contacted three who declared themselves to work for employees rights. All replied in due time, but it was Beth's office that, after an explanation of my situation, suggested we meet, if only for an initial consultation. Beth's schedule was accommodating enough that we could meet within 72 hours. From the initial consultation, she was the perfect balance of pragmatic, professional and supportive. Beth presented me with the strengths and weaknesses of my claim. She made no promises of outcomes, only to do her best, and help me do mine in those trying and stressful circumstances. Through-out the process, her communication was timely and responsive (something not to be taken for granted, based on my few previous experiences with attorneys). My questions were answered, my strategic input was welcome and I never questioned her advocacy for my cause. I'm not wealthy, and I found Beth's fees to be fair, her billing and explanations clear, and her time usage efficient. Without hesitation, I would recommend Beth and her team.
