Excellent on all levels

Bill Hammett handled my unexpected and unwanted divorce. At our initial meeting, I was stunned, confused and didn't have a clue where to begin the process. He was compassionate without ever sacrificing professionalism. He displayed excellent knowledge of the case, represented me very well in both hea...rings, and was patient yet thorough in his explanations to my questions and concerns. In both hearings, his competence and defense strategy garnered the best possible outcome for me in terms of financial settlements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Hammett to anyone in need of a good divorce attorney. Both he and his staff served me graciously, courteously, and with great competence. I couldn't have asked for better.

Fair and equitable

I used attorney Hammett for legal Council when I was getting divorced in 2012. I remember always going into meetings with many questions, fear, and apprehension. I also remember leaving the meetings with many answers, and the calming reassuring attitude. I felt like Bill was really on my side, and wa...s very detail oriented. I felt that he gave me a good counsel, and told me things that I needed to hear, even if I didn't necessarily want to hear them. No divorce is pleasurable, but I do feel that working with Bill got me a fair and equitable settlement. I would recommend using him to anyone of my friends.

Great Attorney

Helped us through a grueling adoption. Very firm and aggressive and honest with client. I would recommend him to anyone going through any family law and/or divorce matters. We looked for months for an attorney, and very impressed/happy with choice.
