My review cannot possibly do justice describing my experience with Bill Hammett as my divorce attorney. Bill’s ethics, knowledge, experience, intelligence, and quick-thinking ability are simply unmatched. From his peers to his clients, the verdict is unanimous. He is brilliant! Bill is a gift to the legal community in the Valley and a life saver for those who find themselves amid a difficult divorce. Bill showed the utmost compassion, dedication, and commitment to my case throughout my very challenging divorce process. He worked long and hard to obtain the best outcome for me. His attention to detail and good judgment paid off!! I feel so incredibly grateful for what Bill (and his outstanding, superb staff) did in my case. Hiring Bill Hammett as my attorney was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I hired Bill Hammett for my divorce and would highly recommend him to anyone. His knowledge and experience are beyond commendable. The communication was excellent and always timely. Bill and his staff were easy to work with during my divorce process. My initial call for the free consultation occurred quickly and was very helpful to me as I did not know what to expect when my ex hired an attorney (we were attempting to divorce via pro se initially.) Bill was great at explainin...g what I did not understand and answering my questions. He put my worries at ease. I felt he had my child's and my best interests in mind, even as far as what is worth fighting for in the divorce to take into account the billing time it would take to resolve and determine which items were worth pursuing or letting go in favor of pursing other changes or arguments. I highly recommend Bill for a divorce attorney! I would definitely retain Bill's services again, should the circumstances ever arise for any legal matter. Remember, you get what you pay for, cheaper doesn't mean better and Bill was a far better attorney than the cheaper attorney hired by my ex. The judge even complimented Bill on his cross-examining of my ex at my divorce hearing after court!

From the first phone call through the entire 18 month process Bill Hammett was professional, supportive and helpful. He helped make a miserable process the best it could be. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a divorce attorney to use Bill. There is nothing I was not satisfied with during... the divorce process. In addition his paralegal, Ellen was outstanding. She was thorough and communicated timely to ensure I was never surprised. Together they did an amazing job. Highly recommended.

Bill’s vast knowledge of divorce law put me at ease almost immediately. Personally, I can attest to his honesty and integrity as a law professional. Many details of this process were initially quite overwhelming. Bill could sense my frustration and patiently answered ALL of my questions; my concerns and worries were quickly alleviated. What impressed me most was the step-by-step approach he used to convey the divorce process in terms I could understand. His actions and personality were highly professional both in and out of the courtroom. I have a great deal of respect for Attorney Hammett and am very satisfied with the outcome of my divorce. His legal assistant, Ellen, was absolutely wonderful too.
