Bill was very helpful and supportive throughout my divorce process. He was knowledgable throughout and I feel the information he gave me was prompt, timely considering the decisions that had to be made, and direction on what I believe was the best outcome for the situation. While I know he had my interests in mind, he also had the end goal in mind, with suggestions of possible ways to address and settle things. He was kind, and professional. Before hiring an attorney, I thoroughly investigated all divorce lawyers within a 100-mile radius of Green Bay. My intention was to hire someone with expertise and experience specific to divorce law. Attorney Wil...liam J Hammett with HBO law offices was selected to “Super Lawyers” from 2008-2015 as one of the top divorce and family law attorneys in the State of WI and, upon reading his clients’ reviews, I knew I wanted him to represent me. Bill’s vast knowledge of divorce law put me at ease almost immediately. Personally, I can attest to his honesty and integrity as a law professional. Many details of this process were initially quite overwhelming. Bill could sense my frustration and patiently answered ALL of my questions; my concerns and worries were quickly alleviated. What impressed me most was the step-by-step approach he used to convey the divorce process in terms I could understand. His actions and personality were highly professional both in and out of the courtroom. I have a great deal of respect for Attorney Hammett and am very satisfied with the outcome of my divorce. His legal assistant, Ellen, was absolutely wonderful too.
