Joe Bugni and his team were the lawyers appointed to my boyfriend's case. Joe was the first man who called me saying that my boyfriend was in Madison and that we were about to begin a very intense investigation. My boyfriend was facing a minimum of 60/maximum of 120 consecutive years. Joe, as well as... Peter, did everything they could to ensure that I kept my hopes high and that I was taking care of myself as best I could. Joe made frequent calls and sent text messages throughout the week to make sure I was doing well and to check in on my boyfriends family as well. When my boyfriends trial date was approaching, Joe and Peter both drove 3 hours to visit myself and my boyfriends parents. Throughout the entire investigation, my personal life was completely exposed to absolute strangers and Joe did his best to keep reminding me that I needed to stay positive and support my boyfriend, despite the extreme hard times we were begin to face. Seven months after this nightmare started, and a month prior to the trial date, I received a call that after everything we had been through - thousands of miles traveled for court appearances, hundreds of letters sent, an intense investigation and time lost while he was gone - all charges against my boyfriend were going to be dismissed. I have Joe and his team to thank for everything! My life is slowly starting to get back to normal, but I would not have any of this if not for Joe Bugni and the entire team. I will never forget what Joe has done for me. When I first met him I was a mess he showed compassion from the start. Joe went above and beyond while helping me. He would always make sure I was ok, journaling, going to church and most of all taking care of myself. He not only made sure my legal issues... were being dealt with but he always found time to make sure My daughter and I were ok and coping with everything well. Joe Bugni was the appointed lawyer for my very close friend Brian and he went above and beyond what most lawyers would do. He was very hands on with Brian and connected with him regularly. He also sent out texts to me to let me know what was going on with Brian every step of the way. If I had any que...stions regarding his case or his wellbeing I could easily reach out to Joe for answers. Even though Brian's case is resolved they still remain in contact.
