Matthew Doyle Rauh

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies, I left South Bend, Indiana to spend a year volunteering in Chicago, living in an intentional community with 12 roommates and working as an assistant teacher at a small Catholic school in the Uptown neighborhood. From Chicago, Illinois, I moved to Madison, Wisconsin to pursue my legal degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School. During that time, I worked as a small claims mediator, a court program developer, and a customer service and education specialist at a technology retail store. I also have experience with the Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, working on federal cases and meeting with clients across the state.

In all of my work experience, it has been the personal connections that I've enjoyed the most, which is why the personal relationship is one of the most important aspects of working with clients for me. After working for two years as a licensed attorney, I decided to start my own practice to meet the unique needs of bussinesses and families in the Dane County and surrounding communities. I am passionate about finding personalized answers to legal questions big and small, and love helping others learn and grow.

Growing up outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the oldest of 9, family has always been very important to me. I am very excited to be starting my own family with my beautiful new wife and our two dogs here in Fitchburg. In addition to playing with our dogs, we love to go to the Tree Farm to pick our own vegetables, visiting Madison's beautiful parks - especially the UW Arboretum and Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and attempting various home improvement projects. I also love music, playing guitar, and playing pickup ultimate frisbee and soccer.
