Great Representative

My soon to be ex petitioned for divorce on November 2012. In December 2012, I retained Attorney Matthew Johnson. I had no knowledge of what it took to complete the divorce process. The soon to be ex chose to turn a simple divorce into a messy, frivolous and lengthy process. Her proposed marital settl...ement agreement was totally unreasonable. She made numerous threats and demands rather than working through an amicable solution. She disregarded the temporary orders and went through three attorneys until the trial date was set one and one-half years after she filed. Attorney Johnson and his staff were exceptionally professional during this whole process. They walked me through the process until I understood it. He and his staff promptly returned my phone calls. They always had logical answers to my questions. E-mails and correspondences were sent to me as soon as they received correspondences from the other side. The communication was great and I always felt as if I was in the loop. We had numerous court appearances during the process. Attorney Johnson appeared in court early and ready!!! Attorney Johnson always treated the petitioner, the opposing attorneys and I with respect. He focused on the main points and did not waste time on meaningless issues. He filed motions and subpoenas when it became evident that the petitioner would not cooperate. His strengths were exemplified during the court hearings and trial. The petitioner was found in contempt of court on numerous charges and was ordered to supply information which she was obligated to disclose. She was also ordered to pay part of my attorney fees. I always felt comfortable and confident that Attorney Johnson would represent me to the fullest extent of the law. I highly recommend Attorney Matthew Johnson as a divorce/trial attorney. He will represent you fairly and expeditiously.

Recommend Matt Johnson

I retained Attorney Matt Johnson for my divorce in 2008/2009. Coming out of a long marriage and being set financially while being in the marriage I was very nervous what would happen going out on my own. After a few meetings with Matt he rest assured me that I would be fine with the outcome of the di...vorce and that he would do everything within the laws of Wisconsin to help me get started with my new life. During the divorce if I had any concerns or questions all I had to do was call Matt, he would answer them for me right away. He was always on time to court, always sat and talked to me afterwards and explained to me what was going on. If I didn't understand something, especially when it came to the splitting of the 401accounts, Matt sat with me and explained it to me calmly until I understood. He has a calmness about him that you just know everything is going to be "ok"!! But yet he knows how to debate with the best of the best in the court room when he needs to! I have been in touch with Matt over the past 5 years in which I have needed last minute advice. Matt has always been there to guide me. I definitely recommend him as an Attorney, you won't be sorry. Awesome Attorney

Being a middle-aged professional woman and seeking a divorce after a lengthy marriage was not an easy thing to do. I , being part of a growing number of middle-aged women (Gray Divorce Revolution) had had enough of a marriage that needed to end. I went to see Attorney Matthew Johnson for advice and... told him my situation- that my soon to be ex was going to take me to the cleaners, and all that I have worked for. My ex and I have one young son who is attending college, and I help him out the best way I can. Attorney Johnson listened to my concerns, and stated that he will help me. He reassured me that my ex would not take me to the cleaners. I felt very confident to hire him and represent my case in court. Attorney Johnson gave it to me straight, and to the point. He advised me on what would be in my best interest within the confines of the law. He was always on time for court, and kept me informed. Throughout the process, Attorney Johnson and staff were very professional and caring. I felt that he was on my side, considering, I had more to lose than to gain. I highly recommend Attorney Matt Johnson- he came through for me, I know, he will do the same for you. I cannot thank them enough. Patty

Superior Attorney

Matt has been my attorney for alomost 3 years. Through, the tough situations that I have been faced, Matt has been there from the very start. If I every have a question, concern, problem, or even just to update him, Matt and his legal team have been there to listen and answer my questions in a timely... fashion. Being in and out of family court for sometime now. I am comfortable to know that Matt is my attorney. I would recommend Matt Johnson to anyone who has any legal issues.
