An experienced voice, candid advice when you want it. A great team that has your back through the process of divorce.

When you are suddenly faced with divorce you are overwhelmed with worries, question's and where to start, you need someone to guide you through it. Matt Johnson came highly recommended by a friend in the legal community. After my free consultation with Matt I felt great relief knowing where I stood..., what could happen and what I needed to do. Outstanding Representation in Divorce Case

I am happy to write this review of Attorney Matt Johnson and his Paralegal Kayle Newberry of Murphy, Johnson, & Trampe S.C. Attorney Johnson handled my separation from my wife and I could not be happier with the level of service I received, both from him and Kayle. The level of professionalism and ...thorough handling of every aspect of the case was top tier. Speedy answers to my questions, careful attention to detail, and genuine empathy and compassion during this difficult time made this more comfortable than I could have hoped for. Interestingly, my ex-wife was very impressed with Attorney Johnson and thought he was extremely professional. She saw the contrast between him and her attorney and it was something she picked up on immediately. I think that says a lot. I found Attorney Johnson to be extremely well prepared, very sharp with the details, very quick to respond to communications with her attorney, and fought vigorously for a fair settlement without being aggressive and/or unprofessional. I think he set the bar high for integrity through his actions and did so without ego. He explained everything very clearly and made me feel comfortable that my case was in very good hands. I cannot leave Kayle out of this glowing review. She was tremendous at answering questions and if there was something she could not answer, she told me she’d work to get an answer from Attorney Johnson and always came through with answers that were prompt and spot on to the questions I asked. Very sharp in her position, a gem for that firm. I truly felt that she was very much an extension of Attorney Johnson, very much on the same page with him on how the case was handled. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Attorney Johnson and Kayle for anyone looking for outstanding representation in what is otherwise a very difficult and painful event in life. While their job is not to provide counseling, the empathy they displayed while working tirelessly to come to a fair and acceptable conclusion helped tremendously with easing me through the process. Very much appreciated.

Highly recommend

I don't have a single complaint, attorney Johnson and his team did an amazing job helping me navigate divorce and custody. We focused on the things I found most important, if you have a complicated divorce I highly recommend him, I'm very happy with the end results.

If I could add an extra Star or an 11 for Avvo!

I hired to Attorney Johnson and his team to respond to a motion my ex filed. When I first met with Atty, Johnson he was very direct and concise on what would happen. I felt he was very confident and understood the law and was familiar on how to deal with my ex's lawyer here in Kenosha. I hired him on... the spot! Within a week, Atty Ragonese from his team reached out to me and worked with me so we can formulate an appropriate response to the petitioner. When I received the draft back, Atty Ragonese helped me draft the most impeccable response back to the court. When I and other trusted people read it, they were amazed by the response. This reinforced that I made the absolute right choice in hiring Atty Johnson and his team! The preparation before court in my opinion, is where judgements are won. At court, I felt my ex's atty, (she has a reputation to be a bulldog in Kenosha) was swimming up river. I heard the commissioner using language from our response to the opposing side before the decision was made. I had a feeling things were going our way. When the commissioner came back with her decision, I understood the preparation and response, was key to having all motions my ex seeked dismissed! I would highly recommend Atty Johnson and his team to anyone that is going through the unfortunate situation I find/found myself in. Additionally, I would hire him again without any hesitation. My only regret, I wish I would have had Atty. Johnson and his team in my initial divorce.

Professional, Proactive, and Knowledgeable

I highly recommend attorney Matthew Johnson to anyone going through a divorce. I had never been through the divorce process before and the circumstances of my case made it additionally challenging. Realizing I needed professional representation, I researched local divorce attorneys and eventually sel...ected attorney Johnson. My divorce was finalized three months ago and I am very satisfied that I chose Matt to represent me. Throughout the process, Matt provided me with detailed explanations and options for each step. He always listened to my concerns and pursued the course of action I selected, even when I chose to go in a direction different than what Matt recommended. I feel Matt represented me professionally in court as well as in his dealings with my ex-wife’s attorney. Although I am still dealing with the emotional fallout from going through the divorce process, I am at peace with the results of the legal process. In addition to the positive experience I had working with Matt, his assistant Sharon was extremely helpful and very caring. Thank you very much Matt and Sharon for helping me through the most difficult and painful experience of my life!!
