Highly recommend

I don't have a single complaint, attorney Johnson and his team did an amazing job helping me navigate divorce and custody. We focused on the things I found most important, if you have a complicated divorce I highly recommend him, I'm very happy with the end results.

Post Divorce-Placement

I was divorced in 2018 and recently received a motion to revise my current placement schedule. After reviewing reviews and obtaining personal references, I decided to hire Attorney Johnson as my new attorney to represent me in this motion. I originally thought I was making a mistake because, he ...did not know my divorce history. However, I quickly discovered my fears to be unfounded. Attorney Johnson took time to listen to me and obtain the history he needed to properly represent me. Through the proceedings, Attorney Johnson informed me of my options and explained the process to me. He informed me of the possible next steps and was always available to answer my emails. On the day of my hearing, Attorney Johnson provided the facts we needed to defend our position. As a result, of his diligent work, the ruling went in our favor. I would recommend Attorney Johnson to anyone that needs an honest and caring attorney. My regret is not having him as my lawyer 2-years ago when I was going through my divorce.

Best lawyer in Racine

I hired Matt Johnson for my divorce. My ex had threatened that our divorce would be nasty should we ever get there. From day one at our consultation Matt was able to easily recognize the "issues" my ex would bring up and clearly remove any doubt as to if they are an issue. My ex wanted me to have my ...kids at most one night a week. The end result was exactly what I had hoped for. At the very first hearing Matt showed his value. My ex's attorney (same per hour billing as Matt) seemed completely unprepared. My wife's attorney couldn't get the age of our children correct or even be bother to cited statutes that would backup their position. Meanwhile, Matt was incredibly prepared having obviously reviewed the file in detail, capable of citing accurate facts from the file without ever referring back to the file. Matt was also able to reference Wisconsin laws that backed up our positioning. I hope to never go through another divorce again or any other placement issues with my ex, if I do, I know I'll hire Attorney Johnson.

Confident, Caring, Calm and Collected

Matthew Johnson is an excellent attorney. I would highly recommend hiring him for any family court issues you may be facing. He recently represented me in a post-divorce child placement case. He is extremely knowledgeable on the laws and the factors that the court considers when investigating and ame...nding a placement schedule. I originally retained him when my ex filed a motion for equal shared placement (7/7 all year) after refusing to agree to the revised schedule I proposed. We had a 9/5 schedule in my favor that had been in place for over 8 years. During the family court process, my ex amended his motion to request primary placement (11/3 in his favor). Matt never waivered in his confidence in our position, even when I would get shaken in the process. He always used "we" and "our" when referring to the strategy and options to pursue, as he was truly invested in getting the best outcome for me and my children. He always provided me with an honest assessment of the options and was always well-prepared and extremely responsive. I've seen other attorneys become aggressive in court, but he never had to be. He is extremely articulate and was able to communicate our position and the facts of the case calmly and confidently. Although, I knew if the case continued further, he would have fought wholeheartedly. Thankfully, we settled with a schedule that matched the initial proposal I made to my ex before he took me to court (8/6 during school in my favor and 7/7 in the summer) . The court recommended slightly less time for him (9/5 in my favor with an additional weekly dinner with him and 7/7 in the summer). This was an extremely stressful and painful process, but I am very thankful I had Matt on my side. He is worth every dollar. Thank you, Matt!
