My last review of attorney Jody Usow was quite positive. She made changes that seemed impossible to make. Well today was supposed to be the final trial date. After some deceptive manoeuvering from the other side it still goes on. I thought it would never be over. JODY however had already had plan pri...or to court just for this situation. The attorney's went into the judge's chambers and in less than an hour came out with paperwork changing temporary primary placement to myself! Yes we had to go through the process but I never thought this would become a reality. We go back to court in about 4 months. But I feel confident that Jody will have everything taken care of. It's a good feeling to have this level if confidence in your attorney. If your in search of a real attorney that will definitely come through for you I'd without hesitation recommend Jody Usow! I retained Jody better than halfway through a placement/custody issue. When Jody took on the case the GAL did not take a Doctor's opinion nor any of the verified paperwork I presented to him to prove the issues I was having with my son's mother seriously. After looking over the papers and speaking wi...th the Doctor SHE initiated a meeting with all the attorneys along with the Doctor. She set things up very well at that meeting for our court date. We went to court a few days ago (unfortunately we were unable to finish) and I was quite amazed as to how she managed to turns things in our direction! Obviously I don't know what the end result will be. Whatever it is I now have piece of mind that I've done the best I could for my son. Jody opened up eyes I thought were closed to a father. No one who gets married ever intends on getting divorced. I know that I certainly was one of those that thought, "this is going to last forever." She responded to phone messages in a timely manner. At each court appearance, Attorney Usow was prompt and well- prepared. After court, Attorney Usow took the time to speak with me- making sure that I understood the events that had just occurred. Divorce is not an easy thing to go through. But if you have to go through one, I would strongly recommend- at the very least- consulting with Attorney Jody Usow first. I guarantee that after speaking to her, you'll feel assured that she is the attorney that you want protecting your rights and assets.
