Divorce is never easy and no one wants to go through it. However, the whole process gets a little easier when you have a dream team on your side. I went through my divorce within the last year or so, and I can remember searching for a divorce lawyer, checking different websites...not really knowing w...ho would be a good fit for me. I forget what website I was on but I stumbled across Jody Usow and was intrigued. Not just because she had good reviews but she also had a long track record in handling divorces. I thought to myself, maybe she will be a good fit, so I scheduled a brief consultation. After my initial consultation with Jody I was more than confident in my decision for her to represent me. Why? Jody has a great personality and she is personable. Jody is very down to earth, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. She also surrounds herself with a great team, who is willing and able to assist you when needed. I never felt like I was alone or confused during this process because Jody made it pretty seamless. She handled all communication with the other party and was not afraid to stand firm in her requests. I would recommend Jody and her team to anyone who wants a seasoned lawyer on their side ---she IS the one for you.

Jody is the best family lawyer I know, I regret I did not know her earlier. She has been helping me go through the most difficult time in my life. I was in a divorce case and faced a very hard time, while Jody was able to handle the case easily and with experience. I didn't think I could expect much out of a bad custody situation. Jody assured me that my expectations were realistic. She advocated for what was in my family's best interest and the outcome she fought for exceeded my initial expectations. Jody fluidly managed the stress and accusations th...at flew during negotiations and deal making. Throughout the process, it was difficult for me to believe that her predictions so early in the case would be right on the money, and yet they just were. This woman knows her way around the courtroom. She knows what she's doing and knows what to expect from all of the players. I chose Jody because I believe that you get what you pay for. I'd had two "free consultations" from other attorneys but I hadn't been able to pull the trigger. Paying for a consultation made me nervous, but in the end, it was absolutely worth it. This has been an expensive process, so it was a tough choice to go with the most expensive attorney on my short list. Her billing methods are fair and clear. I've got no regrets.
