One of my recent cases of interest is State v. Jepsen, 09 CF 0005, in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Alan was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child, contrary to Wis. Stats. (2). That charge carried a possible 40 year prison sentence with 25 years of exposure for initial confinement, along with 15 years of extended supervision. The interesting issue, which garnered national media attention, was that at the same time, a young woman was charged with a misdemeanor for similar activity.
We resolved Alan's case with a misdemeanor, and he received probation. You can see articles on the case that appeared on The Daily Beast (posted March 19, 2009), and another that appeared in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (Jim Stingl, Sunday, March 22, 2009). You can also find a radio interview from Wednesday, March 25, 2009, on Seattle, WA radio station, KIRO, 97.3 FM, on Dave Ross' show.

Great person all around
I had 2 charges from a little over a year ago and was told that it was most likely going to be jail time or probation. Jeff got it down to one of the charges dropped and all I got left with was a fine to pay. Great guy and easy to talk to, need help in Wisconsin this is your guy.
