Review

This attorney represented the defendant at sentencing, post-conviction stage and on appeal of a criminal conviction. The agreement was to review the entire record including trial counsel's performance and preparation for trial, to determine trial counsel's errors, omissions, loyalty to cause, defend...ant's right to a fair trial, his property and liberty interest were protected as guaranteed under the Fifth, Fourteenth and Sixth Amendments to the United States Constitution. She broke the agreement. (1) Failed to present the legally required affidavit of a favorable witness as newly discovered evidence to challenge the effectiveness of trial counsel's failure to prepare a defense and call favorable witnesses, (2) failed to file proper motion for a restitution hearing to confirm the amount of theft, (3) failed to raise the issue of notice and hearing on investigation by Wisconsin Department of Revenue of alleged unreported taxable income, (4) failed to raise the issue of contracts and indebtedness to the defendant, (4) Failed to communicate with client, (5) Failed to take appropriate steps to protect client's interests, (6) Failed to adequately explain sentencing and other legal rights

Not worthy

I hired Bridget for my high profile multiple felony case. I knew that I was not guilty but also recognized, based on the criminal complaint, that I needed a competent, intelligent attorney who was willing to fight for me. After tens of thousands of dollars, what I actually paid for was for an attorne...y whose performance was so inadequate that it cost me another $100,000 + to fix her mess. She lied to me, failed to prepare whatsoever for a trial, and thought she could just "wing it ". Pathetic.

Don't do it!

I contacted Bridget to represent my daughter. She kept contact the first few days promising to go see my daughter but found herself too busy to get there. At day 5 I received no response by text or phone calls. Day 6 no responses Day 7 no responses. Day 8- ( 1 day before my daughter going to court) I... was on a stressful rush trying to find an attorney! 1 week of wasted critical time dealing with her!!

Refuses to return phone calls

This attorney's last name is "Saxon." She is using her popular dad's last name "Boyle" and her services do not reflect those services provided by her father. I retained the services of Bridget Saxon (Boyle) for an OWI case and she was always tied up with large cases and failed to return most of my ...calls and keep me informed. She even sent another attorney to a major motion hearing (essentially the case itself - to attempt to strike the stop) and failed to tell me someone else was going. I have retained this attorney since April, 2009 until present time September, 2009 and she has refused to return my calls on several occations and lost the eharing and failed to notify me. I would not recommend this attorney for any case that is less than a felony. For major cases I hear she is a good trial attorney. Also, if they give you a break with legal fees, trust me - the services you receive will reflect that break. It is unfortunate that I will be filing a bar complaint if she still continues to not return my calls.
