Wow! We made the right decision in hiring Nettie for my son. You either trust her or you don’t! We had a ton of questions and she did answer all of them. We bumped heads sometimes as a mother you can get anxious during something as serious as intentional homicide. Nettie won this self defense trial f...or my son who was facing life in prison now he has life to be who he is. Nettie listens and she partners with the defendant in preparing for trial. I hired Annette (Nettie) for a couple different traffic tickets I picked up, and each time she was able to lower the amount of points on my license or limit it to just a fine altogether. She communicated everything with me very well, and clearly knows how to work with other attorneys to secure bette...r deals/situations for her clients. The word winning has a different meaning depending on who you ask. Winning can be defined as being successful, triumphant, or victorious in a contest. The late Jack Welch, wrote in his book Winning (2005), “If you don’t have a competitive advantage don’t compete”, (Welch & Welch, 2005). This was me ...until I hired attorney Annette Rauch to handle my case. I was arrested for 2nd DUI causing injury on March 18, 2018, and struggling to put my life back together. I didn’t have much of a chance in winning my case and facing six years in prison. For me going to prison was not an option, winning for me was not going to prison. Annette (Nette) got involved with my case in October of 2018. By this time, I had already violated my bond conditions and was facing additional bail jumping charges. I later picked up another bail jumping charge in another county for public intoxication. You would have thought I learned my lesson. Through all of this Nette supported me and stood beside me. I think she knew I was struggling but she didn’t back down. I’m not sure how but the case lingered on for two years and two months. In hindsight, this gave me time to get sober through treatment and other programs. Nette used the success of my treatment as an opportunity, she in essence created a competitive advantage. Nette was able to negotiate the sixth bail jumping charge to a felony with 18 months’ probation in advance of the 2nd DUI trial date. To some, this may not seem much like a win as I ended up with a felony. However, the felony does not define me, and I did not receive a prison sentence. WINNING. As for the 2nd DUI causing injury, there was not much evidence to support the injury claim and again accepted a felony without going to prison. I received two years’ probation run together with the prior and 45 days on GPS bracelet. None of this would have been possible if it were not for Nette’s knowledge and understanding of the law. Amazing!! Winning for me is that I get to finish my Doctorate, Winning for me is that I get to grow my tech company, Winning for me is that I am sober. I hired Nettie for a second OWI offense. I was recommended to her law firm by the VA since I am a veteran. While I made a big mistake that I will regret for the rest of my life, Nettie worked her tail off to get me the best possible outcome she could get me. I could have served up to 6 months in jail... if it wasn’t for her. Instead she was able to get me 25 days in Huber against a judge that I’ve come to find can really stick it to people that were driving under the influence. While I do believe OWI’s should have harsh penalties because of the damage you could cause to other people as well as yourself, I was very blessed to have her in my corner. She is a fantastic communicator and also shows sympathy. Any time I had questions or concerns, she was either a phone call or a visit to the office away. Saying this young lady is incredibly smart and knowledgeable is an understatement. She doesn’t miss a thing. She also went above and beyond my expectations to fight for the best deal we could get. She listened to every word I told her about my past leading up to my OWI. She genuinely cares and wants to help people that have slipped up and made mistakes like me. I can’t thank her enough or for that matter praise her enough. If you are reading this and are in need of an incredible attorney that will battle for you, I highly recommend Nettie. Also on a financial stand point, I paid a considerable amount less and had a better experience with her than other attorneys that I had talked to. Most of which were charging at least $1500 more.
