Biography
I am passionate about defending the rights of people accused of drunk driving throughout Wisconsin. I work for Melowski & Singh, LLC, a law firm dedicated to the thorough, aggressive and reliable representation of clients needing strong representation.
After graduating in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I majored in Political Science, I earned my Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, I completed internships with various circuit court judges, prosecutors and the State Public Defender Appellate Division. During this time, I was given the chance to serve as lead prosecutor for several DUI cases and received awards for educational achievements, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, for earning the highest grade in my class, a 4.0, in legal writing.
I am certified in field sobriety testing through a curriculum approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and an active member of various professional associations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense. I also regularly teach Wisconsin Attorneys at Wisconsin's Annual Drunk Driving Defense Seminar and the Wisconsin State Bar's Build Your Practice Series "Handling OWI Cases in Wisconsin."
