Casey Hoff

I managed to get through 62 years without so much as a moving violation ticket. I changed that record in my 63rd year. Got my first (and I hope last) speeding ticket. OK, I deserved it. Paid the fine, and that was that. A few months later, due to some chaos in my life (it happens) I was charged ...with 2 misdemeanors. A good friend said I should have a lawyer. Not having any experience being a "criminal", I didn't know this. I naively thought a misdemeanor was not a big deal. I called Casey and that call was at least ONE smart move I made in my 63rd year. I was a nervous wreck, having never been arrested and going through the booking process. I never fully understood "vulnerability" until this event. Having Casey on board, with his intelligence, legal expertise, compassion and empathy was priceless. He treated me with respect and genuine concern for my well being. He knew how shaken I was by this, and I cannot imagine anyone better to turn to. If you are in medical or legal trouble, firstly you want THE BEST. If they ALSO happen to be genuinely compassionate and understanding of your vulnerability and fears, you have THE BEST of THE BEST. Casey is this. He is thorough, reassuring, keeps you posted at every turn, explains clearly what you need to know, and is just about one of the nicest people I've EVER met. And that is saying a lot for 6 decades of meeting people! He is just what I needed that first time I was arrested, and the SECOND. About 6 weeks after my first arrest, i was arrested for another misdemeanor. I dreaded calling Casey to inform him of this, I was ashamed and in disbelief that my life seemed to be coming apart at the seams. Casey was once again, ON BOARD, and there for me 100%. Understandably, this time around, it was looking less hopeful that my charge would be reduced to a citation. Casey went right to work for me, and amazingly enough, the District Attorney DROPPED the charge completely. I think even Casey was a bit surprised, but we were both very, very happy! Having this chaos crop-up in my life twice in a 6 week period, is disconcerting to say the least, as well as very embarrassing. Casey inspires confidence, calm, and he is not at all judgmental. When you have hit bottom, the last thing you need is someone looking down at you and judging you. Casey has a wonderful understanding of people and he is truly interested in helping, and being there for his clients. I do think of him as my "Guardian Legal Angel", and i have to say this: Casey at the Bat! I thought of this phrase so many times in these past weeks, it was a comfort, and it made me smile. I am determined to "de-chaos" my life, and not ever experience another arrest. I am so fortunate that I had Casey in my corner. I can't recommend him highly enough! It has been a full week since my charges were dismissed. During the past week I've sat down many times and written many reviews, only to re-read them and determine they did not properly convey the depth of my gratitude to Casey Hoff. I was arrested in July 2015 for Battery and Domestic Abuse after ...assaulting someone I felt was about to attack me. I appeared in court several days after being arrested by myself and plead not guilty to the charges. I had been afraid to hire a criminal defense attorney to represent me because I own a local service company and throughout the last 18 years our company has provided services and established relationships with many individuals, including every attorney I would have considered hiring to defend me. I didn't want to bring shame upon my innocent employees or the company who's reputation we've worked so hard to establish. Shortly after my initial court appearance I had received a very nice letter from Attorney Casey Hoff offering a free consultation. Over the course of the next couple days I received a couple more letters, but none that spoke directly to me like the one I had received from Casey Hoff. After a couple days I reluctantly decided to give him a call and we met for the consultation. When we met he listened to my story and gave me feedback. My first impression of him was he seemed to be extremely competent, well organized and very kind. After the first 5 minutes I knew I wanted him to be my attorney and I didn't need to look elsewhere. Although hiring an attorney is not an inexpensive proposition, upfront I felt his fees were very reasonable. During the course of my pending case and upon on the conclusion of it, I realized for the amount of work he put in I had received a Rolls Royce for the price of a Chevy. After I decided to hire Attorney Casey Hoff he immediately began working on my case. He worked in partnership with a private investigator and interviewed witnesses. I also sent him several lengthy emails which he took the time to read. Attorney Hoff appeared at the initial pretrial meeting and met with the Assistant District Attorney. I was not required to appear on this date. I was hoping the meeting would result in a reduced charge. It didn't. The Assistant District Attorney was unwilling to compromise on the original charges. Although I was relieved to have representation and not have to represent myself I was apprehensive about facing a very serious charge. In response to this happening, Attorney Casey Hoff worked even harder. He compiled all the evidence in my case. Private investigator interviews, 911 tapes, signed statements and the information contained in the emails I sent him. He took all this jumbled information and neatly organized it into a very professional and cohesive defense motion which he filed with the court. After the Assistant District Attorney had a chance to review the defense motion he contacted Attorney Casey Hoff and offered a lesser charge and deferred conviction agreement. He also added that if we decided to proceed with the motion hearing he would revoke the offer. At this stage, Attorney Hoff had demonstrated his abilities, therefore I had a tremendous amount of confidence in him and we decided to proceed with the hearing despite the risk. The hearing was a huge victory, all of the defense motions were granted and the Judge even urged the District Attorney on two occasions during the hearing to dismiss the charges. The District Attorney did not heed the Judge's advice and continued to purse the case. He offered to further reduce the charges against me but we decided to continue and at the next court appearance the charges were dismissed. My review of Attorney Casey Hoff is he is an extremely good attorney. He works hard and knows the law. More importantly, he's a great person. I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to go through this type of ordeal, but if it does happen this is the person you want by your side.

Attorney Casey Hoff handled my case for receiving and concealing stolen property . He got the charge dropped to a disorderly conduct and was always preparing the case as if it was going to trial. He connected me with a wonderful community network and AODA treatment program, and helped me secure housing and occupational opportunities. I would heartily recommend him to anyone in need of a successful defense.

We retained the services of Casey Hoff to represent our seventeen-year-old son. A few weeks after his seventeenth birthday, our son made the poor, but all too common, choice of having sex with his girlfriend. Because the girl was not yet sixteen, he was charged as an adult with felony second-degre...e sexual assault of a child.
