Attorney in law for the right reasons!

When my spouse had been charged with a disorderly contact: Domestic Violence; most people assume it’s a legitimate charge. Especially when the alleged victim has injuries. I am that alleged victim. When an incident happened at our residence, right before Covid lockdown; I’m the one that called 911.... In that moment I truly thought I needed too. However, our situation had circumstances that most would not understand. Including, apparently, the Prosecution, District Attorney office, not Victim Advocates out of Sheboygan. I had mental illness, chronic PTSD and other diagnosis. The PTSD is what was significant. I struggled to understand what was real and what was a flashback. My spouse never stopped me from calling, was ready for police and even to get arrested. I refused to give a statement explaining that I needed 24-48 hours to understand what really happened and until than I wanted a no contact order. Told I could lift it at any time. I didn’t want to be influenced because of it was really his fault he deserved jail but if it was mine I needed to get further help. It WAS my PTSD. Long story short, I never turned in a statement and lifted the no contact. I was contacted by victim advocacy only two hours before his first court appearance. I explained in detail why it was not DV and about my mental illness and I was told that the prosecution would relay that in his hearing. Not only did they lie to me, they accused him of previous DV and the judge slapped him with a three month no contact. I knew a public defender would not be able to do justice to his case. By the grace of God; a flyer with Casey Hoff information was in my mailbox. My stepson forwarded order to my spouse. I’m now in lockdown. My job closed because we were non essential. I had no money, no car, no idea what to do and know no one in my town. Casey Hoff presentes himself to my husband with a passion for his job. A passion to simply help good people that have an issue with the law. He doesn’t practice for the money; to nickel and dime you. He genuinely wants to help and know the nitty gritty of the case. Mental illness is tough to live with; let alone be a spouse of. It’s embarrassing to be a victim, alleged victim, to realize that your memory is false. I knew I had no choice but to disclose and the DA, prosecution and Victim Advocacy never cared for the truth. They never talked to me once after that first call. Never interviewed me. Didn’t even take pictures of my injuries. My local PD even knew my history. I had tried to self commit seven months prior. They had several welfare check calls because I was suicidal, even just in passing they’d stop and ask how I was doing. But all the Prosecution cared about was just slamming charges on a person they didn’t know pretending to be on the alleged victims side. Casey never once made us feel ashamed. Never made me feel looked down upon. He sent a private investigator to interview me at my own residence after he successfully got us off a no contact order. The second hearing was a new judge. That prosecutor tried to keep it in place after I specifically spoke up in court that it wasn’t needed. And thanks to Casey’s due diligence and quick thinking he was able to make it obvious to the judge it’s time to listen to the alleged victim. The PI was a caring and empathetic retired police officer who spent time letting me know I had nothing to be ashamed up and that it took courage to speak up. He was able to submit a victim statement on my behalf; something those who say they were protecting me never did. Casey used every piece of evidence we gave him exactly when it needed to be presented. He had an excellent strategy, kept my spouse Informed the entire time, and when the prosecution grasped at straws trying to use an old disorderly contact insinuating I was a victim Casey spoke up with details how it wasn’t related. He was amazing and the prosecutor ended up filing a dismissal the judge granted.

The Best Lawyer To Have One Your Side - Hands Down!

Contacting Casey was the absolute best decision I have ever made. The first day I called Casey explaining our situation, we got a call from the Police Department letting us know that we needed to show up in court the following day. I contacted Casey late that night in a panic (pretty sure it was at 8...:30 pm) and he instantly started working on our case, and was able to appear with us at court the following morning. Not only was our case tricky, our living situation made things even more difficult. Before our incident with the law, we were planning our move to Europe for my job. Casey did everything to make sure we were still able to move and was in constant communication with us throughout the whole process. He even made sure we only had to fly home for things that were really necessary. What Casey was able to do for us was a miracle, which he even said himself. He let us know that the chances of our case ending up the way it did was less than 1%. It is truly amazing and we are forever in debt to him. He is not only a great lawyer, but a great person! Hiring him is definitely worth every penny!

Very caring, hard working, personable lawyer!

My case started off as a felony charge which Casey got dismissed! Then he argued the class A misdemeanor charge, that was charged in place of the felony, to two counts of misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct, class B misdemeanors! Since the first second i went into his office I felt like he was a sincere... friend looking out for the best for me even when I felt all hope was lost, putting me on top of his priority list. He didn't judge me or become critical of me no matter what I was telling him! His fee was well under what his performance was worth to me, i feel I owe him so much more for everything he did above and beyond! I would highly recommend using Casey as an attorney!

Outstanding Attorney - Personal, dedicated, thorough, and exceeded all expectations.

I had somewhat of an unusually crazy case. From the first time I contacted Casey, he was friendly, down to earth, and seemed to care about my needs more than anything else. He was upfront and fair with his rates, and took the time to listen to me and explain what was going to happen. I felt very comf...ortable with hiring Casey to defend me, and from day one it was clear that it was the right decision. Casey went above and beyond to go through the evidence and put together my defense. He worked well with his Private Investigator, and they kept me very informed on the deleopment of my case. He was very easy to contact, and I would get a response from him almost instantly at any time of day. Casey took my case very personal, and he seemed like more of a friend than an attorney. He spent countless hours working on my case, and even recieved emails and updates from him during the holidays. He is very thorough and educated on the legal system, and left no stone unturned. I would definitely recommend Attorney Casey Hoff to anyone for any type of case. There can't possibly be anyone else who is as passionate and thorough as Casey is.

Exceeded my expectations

It has been a full week since my charges were dismissed. During the past week I've sat down many times and written many reviews, only to re-read them and determine they did not properly convey the depth of my gratitude to Casey Hoff. I was arrested in July 2015 for Battery and Domestic Abuse after ...assaulting someone I felt was about to attack me. I appeared in court several days after being arrested by myself and plead not guilty to the charges. I had been afraid to hire a criminal defense attorney to represent me because I own a local service company and throughout the last 18 years our company has provided services and established relationships with many individuals, including every attorney I would have considered hiring to defend me. I didn't want to bring shame upon my innocent employees or the company who's reputation we've worked so hard to establish. Shortly after my initial court appearance I had received a very nice letter from Attorney Casey Hoff offering a free consultation. Over the course of the next couple days I received a couple more letters, but none that spoke directly to me like the one I had received from Casey Hoff. After a couple days I reluctantly decided to give him a call and we met for the consultation. When we met he listened to my story and gave me feedback. My first impression of him was he seemed to be extremely competent, well organized and very kind. After the first 5 minutes I knew I wanted him to be my attorney and I didn't need to look elsewhere. Although hiring an attorney is not an inexpensive proposition, upfront I felt his fees were very reasonable. During the course of my pending case and upon on the conclusion of it, I realized for the amount of work he put in I had received a Rolls Royce for the price of a Chevy. After I decided to hire Attorney Casey Hoff he immediately began working on my case. He worked in partnership with a private investigator and interviewed witnesses. I also sent him several lengthy emails which he took the time to read. Attorney Hoff appeared at the initial pretrial meeting and met with the Assistant District Attorney. I was not required to appear on this date. I was hoping the meeting would result in a reduced charge. It didn't. The Assistant District Attorney was unwilling to compromise on the original charges. Although I was relieved to have representation and not have to represent myself I was apprehensive about facing a very serious charge. In response to this happening, Attorney Casey Hoff worked even harder. He compiled all the evidence in my case. Private investigator interviews, 911 tapes, signed statements and the information contained in the emails I sent him. He took all this jumbled information and neatly organized it into a very professional and cohesive defense motion which he filed with the court. After the Assistant District Attorney had a chance to review the defense motion he contacted Attorney Casey Hoff and offered a lesser charge and deferred conviction agreement. He also added that if we decided to proceed with the motion hearing he would revoke the offer. At this stage, Attorney Hoff had demonstrated his abilities, therefore I had a tremendous amount of confidence in him and we decided to proceed with the hearing despite the risk. The hearing was a huge victory, all of the defense motions were granted and the Judge even urged the District Attorney on two occasions during the hearing to dismiss the charges. The District Attorney did not heed the Judge's advice and continued to purse the case. He offered to further reduce the charges against me but we decided to continue and at the next court appearance the charges were dismissed. My review of Attorney Casey Hoff is he is an extremely good attorney. He works hard and knows the law. More importantly, he's a great person. I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to go through this type of ordeal, but if it does happen this is the person you want by your side.
