I am a 1995 graduate of Drake University Law School, with honors. I did my undergraduate work at the University of Iowa, graduating in 1990 with a double major in political science and Russian language. Early in my career I was a prosecuting attorney at the Des Moines County Attorney's Office before moving to private practice. I have 31 years of experience in criminal law, and 26 years in family law (including divorce and child custody) and other areas.
