Biography
I am an attorney with a passion for protecting children and animals. In both my law practice and my non-profit work, I seek to better the protections for both and to educate others about how they can do the same. I have an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Biology. I have spent much of my life in the company of animals - both domestic and wild.
I live in Homestead Township in the heart of Benzie County, Northwest Michigan. Since I live here, I know the community, the businesses and the people. If you live in and around Honor, Michigan, or have a vacation home in the area, I can help you out.
Family Law
We provide legal advice and services to individuals with issues involving child custody, child support, divorce, parenting time, grandparent visitation, and spousal support.
Probate Law
Our law office handles probate matters, from beginning to end. We guide our clients through the probate process with compassion and the least amount of stress.
Real Estate Law
We handle all aspects of real estate law, including the buying and selling of real estate. We also handle landlord/tenant matters.
Commercial and Non-Profit Law
We will help create and organize your company's legal structure and provide advice on how to operate it. That includes legal advice on best business practices, best employment practices, and drafting contracts for services, and products. We work with businesses, nonprofit organizations, and other organizations.
Animal Law
We represent pets and their guardians in all types of situations, including injury and discrimination. Our team also teaches animal cruelty investigation to animal law officers, humane agents, humane organizations, and individuals concerned about animal welfare.
