Courtney did a great job
I was surprised to see some of the reviews regarding Courtney Quist. She represented me in my divorce last year, and I thought she was knowledgeable and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. I never felt like I was just another client to her. I remember my ex complaining about the amount of m...

Champion of the people!
Divorce & Custody Disputes are (by nature) very ugly. It's a scary, uncertain time in a person's life that requires a quide like no other. Since it is not possible to "buy" a "win" in court, I needed to know someone cared about "me" (and my sons) and I found this in Courtney Quist. She is extremely a...

Saved my kids and my life!
I walked into Courtney's office after interviewing several attorneys who, like Courtney, were highly recommended by other attorneys in different fields, and I knew immediately that she was not only highly capable, but knowledgeable of the law, compassionate as a human, and listened like no other att...

Terrible Person, even worse attorney
If your case is with Referee Winther, AVOID COURTNEY. Her husband is a local judge, George Quist and Referee Arthur Winther and George Quist have been longtime friends. Courtney is a liar, doesn't know the law, is getting too old to keep things startight. Her only value is that her husband is a judge...

Do not use her
I hired courtney quist for my divorce. 1st court date went good. Then after that she did nothing for me. I lost my kids thanks to her. . She is all talk. Dont use her. Do your homework and find someone who will actually do her job.
Good afternoon. I do not now, nor have I ever, represented anyone who has "lost their kids." Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that a first court date "went good" and after that someone would lose their children. MCL 722.27 governs parenting time, and MCL 722.26 governs custody. In essence, though, a child has a right to a relationship with both parents absent clear and convincing evidence that such a relationship is not in the best interests of the child. I welcome this person to call our office, and identify yourself. I am happy to speak with you. Again, I do not have any clients who have "lost their kids" and I would very much like to speak with you at your earliest convenience.
"I highly recommend Courtney Quist if you are looking for a family law/divorce attorney. Courtney is an outstanding attorney and is an even better person. She will represent you with competence and will fight for you when necessary."
"I strongly endorse this lawyer. Courtney is an outstanding trial advocate, but she also knows that some cases are better off being settled. Being able to handle a case in mediation or in litigation gives her the ability to choose the best path for her client. Courtney is very experienced and ethical and works effectively for her clients."
"Courtney is an extremely energetic attorney who always has her client's interests in mind. She is an asset to the legal community in Grand Rapids."
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Quist is a very good Attorney. Attorney Quist represents her clients very well. I have had cases against Attorney Quist and admire her abilities as an Attorney. John R. Moritz"
"I highly recommend Courtney Quist. She is a tough litigator when needed. She also utilizes mediation and constructive conversation between the parties when the situation allows for it. She has achieved excellent results for her clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. Courtney is a competent attorney who fights hard for her clients. I trust Courtney to be upfront and honest."
"Courtney is well respected in the legal community as being very knowledgable and hard working. She does a great job for her clients, and is a tough opponent. I think she really goes to bat for her clients, and works tirelessly to get them good results. Although she is tough as nails in the courtroom, she is still able to be very personable. I endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have had the opportunity to work with Courtney and she is a dedicated and caring Family Law Attorney who is focused on resolution, and not continuing conflict."
"I have known Courtney for several years and know her to be a smart, passionate and tough attorney who gives everything for her clients. I highly endorse Courtney Quist."
"Courtney is an excellent lawyer. She is compassionate and listens to her clients. However, she is able to be objective, dialing down the emotional tension in a case. She works hard for the best outcome for her clients. I refer clients to her when I am unavailable, knowing they will be in good hands."
