Biography
I have practiced law for 40 years, starting in Grand Rapids, and then returning to my home area in Southwest Michigan. Known primarily as a litigator in high conflict matters, I now exclusively handle contested divorce and probate disputes. My clients have been recognized as being very prepared at trial. It is the intensive preparation that enables my clients to settle their disputes in a satisfactory manner or to receive a favorable ruling from the Court.
With a background in education/coaching, entertainment/theater, and law enforcement, I feel I have unique qualities that make me a very successful trial attorney and effective legal counselor. Helping people fight back against manipulation and abuse by their spouse or other family members has been my passion and practice.

Best divorce lawyer in town.
Mr. Puckett kept me on the right path. By taking the high road, the Court awarded me full custody and the house. It was hard to keep my cool at times, but Mr. Puckett continued to assure me of how things would turn out if I followed his advice. He was right every time.
