Colleen M. Markou

Colleen charged me $140 for a 10 minute consultation and then would not help me with my lack of child support or alimony payments. When I couldn't make it to an appointment because of a work obligation, she insisted on charging me another $140 for not calling. Obviously, if I had that kind of money, ...I wouldn't be trying to obtain her services. I feel like Colleen only cares about making money and cares very little for helping those who need her expertise. I am very disappointed.

used tactical delaying so paperwork had to be rewritten (and re-billed) several times; charged thousand$ for negotiating child support when F.O.C. would have done it for free-it's based on both party's income; I ran out of money because it took so long to get anything settled- when I was unable to m...ake payments (because ex didnt have to give me a dime for months while "mediating") she did not properly represent me or counsel me; ended up filing bankruptcy while ex made 6 figures and he got the house

Attorney Markou has been there for me throughout numberous custody, parenting time issues, and child support changes. She is the only attorney that I will use because I believe that she cares about whats best for the kids. She is very supportive of the whats RIGHT! She always makes herself available ...and has had numberous wins with just my case alone. I HIGHLY recommend attorney Markou to anyone who feels they need advise and/or assistance with child support, parenting time arrangements, and custody. I only wish i knew of her when i filed for divorce in 2008. She's a GREAT attorney.

I hired Colleen to take care of several matters for me. One was dealing with a collection dispute. The other was working with FOC to reestablish and review my current child support order. In both cases I was very glad that I had Colleen on my side. She was professional and efficient. My cases we...re handled promptly and I was kept informed of where I stood each step of the way. If I had any questions, either Colleen or her assistant were available to answer them. Working through legal matters is never fun. However, Colleen made the process much easier than I had thought it was going to be. I would recommend Colleen to anyone who needs legal counsel. She's worth her weight in gold.
