Mot what you would expect.
First let me say that I view attorneys as car salesmen. That said I got into a pretty serious issue early 2019. And I was referred to Jay. Initially when I called Jay I was not confident to say the least. Then I met Jay and was fairly impressed. he talked a big game yet shot me straight and gave me ...all the scenarios on how this could play out. But then it changed fast. I was very depressed and not in my right state of mind when all this was going on. One day I emailed Jay and was very stressed. I figured he would email me back and give me a line of attorney jibirish. No. He called me, he said where are you? I said I am at home. He said I am on my way man calm down. We met up minutes later and my mind was forever changed. This man showed up and just sat with me. Did we talk about the case? Not really. He just showed up and calmed me down. By the time he left I went from crying to laughing. The man literally cared. At that bottom of the barrel moment in my life someone actually cared. Did he bill me? Nope. Did he forget me after that instance? Nope. Did he do the same thing several times over the course of 8 months? Yes. He did without hesitation and never requested compensation. He just legitimately gave a crap about what I was going through. While in court he was very respectful to all involved. he wasnt the cocky arrogant attorney that I expected the average attorney to be. At the same time he was EXTREMELY calculated and tactful. He DESTROYED every aspect of everything that was thrown against me and I can promise you what I went through was one of the worst things you could EVER go through. At the end of the day the case was dismissed. With my circumstances could any attorney of had the same result? I don't know, maybe. But would I of made it through the process? No. I 100% would not of made it through what I was going through without having Jay being there for me. He not only saved me from the false accusation he saved me from myself. I will truly be forever in debt to Jay. I feel that we get into situations and feel that things should just work out. The Justice system will just work its magic for you because you are the rare innocent person and everyone will see that. I can say first hand that's truly not the case. Our system is broken. It always has been and always will be. So it is extremely important to have someone that legitimately cares about what you are going through. Attorneys have so many cases and so much to do that it's easy for them to loose focus and even easier for them to just 50% it and move onto the next client. Not Jay. If you need a GREAT attorney. Forget that. If you need the BEST attorney call Jay Clothier.
