Jay N Clothier

When I was a newspaper reporter I knew Jay as a good and competent lawyer. When I found myself in legal problem after an accident and traffic ticket I called Jay and hired him to help me through it. I was looking at a major hit on my driver's license and insurance if found guilty. Jay met me at court... for my formal hearing, negotiated my case down to a very minor infraction that carried no points on my license. I was initially looking at 3 points on my license. Clothier was referred to me by a friend, My friend had hired Jeff and had some success with Jeff, I retained Jay the useless brother. after paying him in full to represent me in My divorce case Jay did nothing. postponed every court date for over 8 months. would not return phone calls or Emails. I e...nded up firing Jay and went with different lawyer. the new lawyer asked my ex wife's lawyer for copies of all correspondences and they said they only talked to Jay once in 8 months. Jay refused to return any money that I gave him. save yourself time and money. I have never met Jay in person. because he never did anything for my case. total useless POS.

He was able to get both charges reduced by a penalty point apiece, and was helpful, professional, courteous and respectful throughout. I honestly don't know if I would have done as well with an attorney I used in a previous matter, and he was competitively priced.
