Completely embarrassed me in court

Jennifer Paine, won't sign a substitution of attorney order so that I can go to court and get my daughter back. This woman has literally not spoken to me since August, got my hopes up multiple times with promises of court dates that never happened, and now she won't just let me have another attorney ...on my case so that I can continue fighting for my daughter. I literally can't go to court until she signs this document, and she knows that. What kind of person does that? She gave me the runaround the entire time we spoke, and now that I want to hire someone that will actually get things done, she wants to keep me from being able to do so? They keep adjourning my hearings because obviously she isn't showing up, and apparently I can't just remove her myself. She has to sign the sub order. I'm just so sick and tired of all of this. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

Do Not Hire

I hired Jennifer Paine to handle my grandparent rights in june of 2018.When my daughter passed away,I needed to have legal advice and a lawyer to represent me.She was very promising in the initial phone consultation.Paid the retainer, along with another retainer for a similar case, for a family member....She never filed ANY docs as she stated.Phone calls, emails, text messaging went unanswered! Weeks passed, texted her and asked for the so called brief she prepared and my money back, minus this brief charge. She was shocked and actually thought I was another client. Lying about contact and filing paperwork with the courthouse.Never happened. Her mistakes and time lapses cost me time with my deceased child's daughter.(happy to say now we see and talk to her on a regular basis) and money.Worst experience ever.To this day she will not respond to my phone calls or text messages.I just want my money back! I see that many others have been throug this also! Such a shame!

Been With Her A Long Time

I have had a contentious divorce and have had to deal with a lot of issues with my ex wife who threatens to take me to court a lot. Jennifer has been with me the entire time. She has been patient and thorough. Even when I could not afford her and needed time to make payments. She always made time to... talk to me. It's really hard and confusing going to court at first, but I have learned to just follow her lead and let her get me through it. Jen, you're the best.

Do Not Hire

I hired Jennifer to represent me for my child custody issues. Jennifer represented me from 3/8/17 to 6/22/18. During that period Jennifer made many mistakes with my case. Jennifer failed to file an appeal for the result of a child support hearing as she had promised to do. She also had me and ano...ther attorney show up for a court date that was cancelled. Jennifer also failed to inform me of a court date that resulted in an arrest warrant being issued against me. Although Jennifer appears to be very professional when meeting with her, I have experienced something much different. Please be careful if you are considering hiring her.

CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pinnacle Family Law was highly recommended to me by a family friend, who said Jennifer Paine is a fierce and dedicated attorney who will work hard for your case. That's exactly what I needed.  Jennifer went above and beyond my expectations from the very first meeting, taking time on a Saturday to me...et with me to discuss the details of my case, and construct a plan going forward. She is available any time I have a question, no matter how small it may seem, she is always there with either a legal answer, or a special encouragement.  My case has been a mess since day one, but it never intimidates Ms. Paine. She has a wealth of legal knowledge, that she freely shares whenever I have a concern or question, and her true compassion for my family and our situation shines through every time we talk.  Ms. Paine is the type of attorney you need on your side when you feel like you have no hope. We are still working together for my case, and I have full confidence that she will see me through these issues. When you're dealing with issues in Family Court, not only do you need an attorney who knows the law, and can fight for you, you need someone with empathy and compassion. You get that, and more with Jennifer Paine.  I highly recommend Jennifer Paine at Pinnacle Family Law, and encourage anyone who needs legal assistance to contact her.  Thank you Jennifer, for everything you've done and everything you continue to do for my family
