My educational advocate, Nicole C. did an amazing job guiding my family and me through the special education system laws and procedures. She always informed me and reached out to me. She was my rock through it all. I kn...ew I was in over my head with the local school district when I called and she immediately took charge and made me feel like we were going to be okay. She helped us get all of our demands met and make sure that we were set up for success moving forward. I am so grateful we had her by our side throughout the entire process. Tanner Brooks was very helpful throughout the entire process. He was very available for me, answering phone calls and emails promptly. There were even a couple instances when I needed advice that was more time-sensitive, and Tanner still picked up when I called and provided that advice and reassuranc...e. During the interview, Tanner listened to my side of the story and also my concerns. He helped draft the appeal letter promptly and it was written very well. I was concerned about paying the invoice upfront, especially since it was a bit expensive for me, but I am glad I did because I had full confidence throughout the process that they would get the job done.

I paid this lawyer $11,000 and he did nothing but take my money. I was in my last Semester at Roane State Nursing, and the Disability Dept. The Asst. Dean and Instructor worked hand in hand to prevent me from graduating. I gave proof to support my claim, and he agreed to take the case, long story sh...ort, I paid $350 for a consultation, and another $11,000 and all they did was tell me what the school dtated they were not willing to do. I never received an opportunity to meet wth the legal team and the college to discuss my case. Altman sent me emails through the portal stating they did not get a response from the college on several occasions, Then I received a letter stating they were closing my case. It seems as if they take large sums of money from their clients ad deliver nothing. I have over $80,000 in student debt, and for a firm to take advantage of vulnerable people is devastating. Do not waste your money and time with this law firm they will scam you and give nothing in return!

No letters, no legal action, no strategy. They refused to send even a single demand letter. I had alrea...dy exhausted my university’s appeal and grievance channels when I hired them — they knew this was my last resort. They offered a partial refund of $3,000 — but only if I signed a non-disparagement agreement. I declined. They kept $8,000 for doing virtually nothing.
