I worked in the Wayne County Juvenile Court in Detroit for 5 years and spent another 4 years working in non-profits assisting foster youth transition out of the foster care system. What I learned doing this work has allowed me to bring a unique understanding of how family law issues specifically impact children.
I am a state-certified mediator and have a deep understanding of how to manage high conflict cases. I have successfully handled complex family law cases in the areas of Custody, Guardianship, Adoption, and Divorces.
I am able to think outside the box and have used that ability to create outcomes in high conflict cases where other attorneys had already told my clients that what they wanted was impossible.
I bring all of this knowledge and experience to every single case where I personally handle every aspect from beginning to end.

Amazing attorney!!
I will always be so grateful and appreciative for how Sean Blume handled my divorce. I was so lost, vulnerable and alone once I realized my marriage was over. Sean was supportive and comforting during my emotional times. He never tried to hurry me through and took the time to listen. I felt secure...

Great Divorce Attorney
Sean represented me in a divorce with children and exceeded all of my expectations. I would refer him to anyone looking for good representation. He was always accessible and very courteous.

Best Attorney!
Best attorney hands down! I could never go to anyone else! I went to Sean Blume 3 years ago, young, scared and not knowing what to do. I had a very difficult custody/support battle to fight and my back was against a wall. I handed everything over to Sean, and it was the best decision I ever made. He ...

Seemed good
I spoke with him about my case and he seemed knowledgeable about my particular questions. He’s endorsed by a disbarred attorney and this is was troubling for me. Seemed good even though I went with someone else.
"Sean is a thoughtful litigator with the goals of his clients at the forefront. He is versed in all matters dealing with divorce, separation and child custody. His experience coupled with his demeanor support my endorsement of him."
"I've worked with Sean as a clerk and have kept in touch as we've practiced in Macomb County. Sean is professional, thorough, and a genuinely nice individual. Feel confident with him handling your legal issue."
"I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer. A brilliant, trustworthy and highly respected attorney in the legal community."
