First of all I was referred to Mike by a client of mine. I was hesitant .... I read these reviews and thought "I wonder if these are fake reviews" .. I was that worried!!! Also I had previously consulted with other attorneys who didn't even give me the time of day. When I called mike.. he stayed on... the phone with me for over 20 minutes just talking before we even began discussing hiring. He's just a good human being and wants justice for us. after 20 minutes of on the phone I knew he was the one for me. He always answered my calls and questions. He was prepared and ready. I hired mike for a court hearing. I had been caught driving on a revoked and was looking at 5 years revocation. When we went into that courthouse they treated him like a king. EVERYONE knew him.. everyone liked him. He got all my tickets Dropped . I paid a small fee and it was like I never got pulled Over. I'm getting ready to start my license restoration case and can't wait to work with him again! Please don't look elsewhere! He gives this 100 percent!! You will not be dissapointed!

Awesome attorney. First of all... let me say that I called many lawyers before finding this one. Many things stood out to me with him, compared to the others, that I instantly appreciated. First off, I liked that he does't have a smokers voice. Second, I liked that he picked up the phone, and on ...the first call, he had a list of about 20 questions he asked me, which made me think he was very thorough and well organized. Also, when he says he's going to do something (like call), he actually does it. You'd be surprised how lawyers will forget to call you back. Also, he sincerely cares about you and it shows through the conversations you have. I had some lawyers make me cry, call me a liar, and make me feel stupid, and Micheal does neither and he charged LESS than all those other jerks! He spends time with you and makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions you need. I'm kind of shy, so this was so important to me! My case was an out of state one, trying to get my license reinstated. I haven't had it for 7 years, and had tried once before without the help of a lawyer (not recommended). First, we put a case in by mail and got denied, so I decided to fight it. He gave me the pros and cons of doing it here or going to Michigan to do it. Going by what he said, I decided to go to Michigan. I am grateful to him, as I did get my license reinstated today! He was awesome to work with. He is smart, organized, and caring. I appreciate all that he did, as he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! Also note that I never went to AA. So, if you've never gone, it is possible to still get your license back!

I haven’t driven for over a decade. I have some Minor In Possessions and 2 D.U.I.s on my record. I tried many years back to get my restricted license with interlock only to be denied. I had A.A., sponsor, records of attending, letters of support, etc. Turn out it was a bad substance abuse evaluation ...that my lawyer (not Mike) didn’t notice. I don’t think he even looked. It took me about a decade to try again. I researched and interviewed at least a dozen lawyers. When I spoke with Mike...I felt confidant and comfortable and decided to hire him. I’m glad I did. After over a decade of not having a driver’s license, I am now back behind the wheel. I was granted the best possible restricted license with the ever so lovely interlock device. It should be noted that I did not have A.A. or any other alternative program when I went for my 2nd try. My last year in A.A. was some years back. Honestly, I was shocked when I got the result. I felt my hearing didn’t go very well at all. But when I read the result and the hearing officer’s account of what was said and what his opinion of me was…I couldn’t believe it was the same hearing. It was nothing but praise for me. I did a lot of work and self preparation for this hearing but, I honestly believe that if I didn’t have Mike to council me through it and make sure every T was crossed and every I was dotted...that I would’ve been denied a 2nd time. Mike has his way of doing things…and it’s for a reason. He looks at all your records and you as a individual and councils and prepares you accordingly to your unique history, record and personality. He was always very friendly, informative, courteous, respectful and professional on the phone and in person. He was very prompt in getting back to me and there are never any "dumb questions/concerns". I am grateful to the man who recommended Mike to me and now I wish to do the same to you. I have been taken advantged of by multiple lawyers in my life. I cant express how grateful I am to Mike...He is the first lawyer to care so much about his job that you can really feel it. He is the first person to fully understand what I have been through and what its like going through this process. I will defiantly be hiring Mike again when its time to get this interlock removed.

I was extremely satisfied with the representation Mr. Granzeier provided for me. I had a unique case that, on paper, appeared to be a challenge to any top attorney. Mr. Granzeier proved to be up to the challenge. I was charged with 3 DUI offenses between 2001 and 2009. After serving a 5 year driv...er's license revocation, I was granted a restricted driver's license with an interlock device. During this period, I had 6 start up failures ( 2 minor violations) within the one year timeframe between possible DLAD Hearings. These were false positives caused by my prescription inhaler. Due to these 2 violations, my time frame was extended by 6 months before I could apply for another DLAD hearing. I also did not provide another breath sample within 5 minutes after the initial failures due to the fact that I was under the impression that another invalid sample would occur from the inhaler. The SOS requires a follow-up breath sample within 5 minutes after any reading in excess of .025 (start up violation). PBT tests are highly advised upon after any interlock violation to prove that the driver had not been drinking. I was unable to obtain PBT tests on each occasion as I was stranded without any means of transportation. For my second DLAD hearing, in which I could possibly obtain an Operator's License, I represented myself. I submitted all necessary documentation required for a hearing. Unfortunately, my character letters and Substance Use Evaluation were erroneous according to the SOS. This is highly looked down upon by the Hearing Officer's and typically ends in a denied appeal. My 2 minor violations, coupled with incorrect documentation and a Hearing Officer who is known for denying petitioners, resulted in just that. My restricted license was re-revoked. I had no driving privileges and would have to wait a year before I was eligible for yet another DLAD hearing. (If i could do it all over again, I would have retained Mr. Granzeier's services for this hearing). I was frustrated and disappointed in the SOS's judgement and was determined to find the best legal representation possible to prove my case and get me back on the road quickly. I was then lucky enough to hear of Mr. Granzeier through this website. I spoke with him over the phone on multiple occasions during the week after I received my denied notice in the mail. I had also spoken to multiple other "top" Driver's License Restoration attorneys in the state and most of them told me my appeal was fruitless. I decided to retain Mr. Granzeier after hearing his extensive knowledge, attention to detail, and overall care he showed with regard to the laws and my case. Prior to and after retaining Mr. Granzeier, he was always readily available to discuss my case, give me advice, and put my mind to ease. We took the case to Oakland County Circuit Court and I was granted my previous restricted license back. Driver's License Restoration cases are hardly ever overturned in Circuit Courts, especially in Oakland County. I believe retaining Mr. Granzeier was one of the best choices I have ever made. I would recommend him to anyone who is ever involved in Drunk Driving or Driver's License Restoration cases. He is by far one of the best, if not the best, Drunk Driving and Driver's Restoration attorney's in the state of Michigan.
